Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use these for a backflip?

THEY SHOULD WORK DEPENDING ON THE AMOUNT OF ANGLE YOU REQUIRE OR- 5 DEGREES

Is this going to help with a vibration when decelerating from a 2. How about a five-piece leveling set?

It didn't help my situation because it turned out I had a bad bearing in my differential. Ford replaced the ring and pinion as well as the driveshaft, but that didn't help, so I tried the leveling kit, which I wanted to do anyway. When that didn't work, Ford refused to fix the problem because I had leveled the truck while it was still under warranty. I took off the leveling kit and returned to the dealer, who informed me that a carrier bearing had been replaced and everything was fine now.

2012 Ford F150 Lowering shackles of 2 inches have been installed. Is it better to put the fat part of the wedge in the front or back?

Back

Is it better to move the thick side back or forward to raise the rear pinion angle? Thank you very much. ?

If the fat part of the axle is on top of the leaf spring, it will face the back. If the back end of the vehicle is on top of the leaf springs, the fat part of the velical will face forward. I hope this information is useful.

After installing 2" drop shackles, I had to correct the vibration
5/5

This is precisely what I was looking for. This pinion shim worked perfectly on my 2015 Ford F150 Lariat crew cab 2WD truck. I bought a set of 2 inch drop shackles, and after installing them, I noticed a bad vibration slowing down, rough shifting down from fourth to third, and that's where it was felt, so around 30 to 40 mph slowing down, so annoyed, I put the original shackles back in, and poof, problem gone. So I bought these pinion shims, installed them, and, of course, reinstalled the 2 inch drop shackles, and there was no more vibration! These were excellent choices. So, if you're having a similar issue, these shims are a good place to start. They'll make the necessary adjustments to the pinion angle. If you have any vibration after installing drop shackles, these are a must-have.

The strange vibration issue has been resolved
5/5

After upgrading to the heavy duty version of my rear springs, I had a 5 degree total pinion angle that was causing a strange vibration around 25 MPH. With even minor pinion angle differences, the F150 setup appears to be extremely sensitive. The vibration issue was resolved after these shims were installed.

Pionion Angle Differnce Resolved Cyclic Growl Last weekend, I had the opportunity to install this, and it completely eliminated cyclic growling
5/5

After installing Bilstein 5100 front shocks and adjusting the ride height to 2, the cyclic growling began. Height is 5 inches. They stated the number two. The pinion angle should not be affected by 5 inches of level, and there is no need to be concerned, but it did after I installed the shocks and 2. The cyclic growl began at the 5" level when deceleration was reached. Even if the radio is turned on and people are listening, I can still hear it. I found a 3 degree difference between the angles when I measured them. My 35-inch mud tires are now producing a humming sound. Because the two leaf spring center pin bolts rotate with the wrench, removing them was a pain. After some consideration, I decided to use a small pipe wrench to ram the teeth of the wrench into the center pin bolt heads and leverage the process with a pipe. The center pin bolts could be removed and tightened because the bolts could not rotate. You'll have to practice ramming the head on the spot until you get it right. Let's see how well these hold up. br>br>Let's see how well these hold up. In general, everything went as planned.

This is ideal for installing 2" drop shackles
5/5

On a 2016 F-150, I installed these with a 2" drop shackle. 150 2wd. Shims should be inserted from the back of the axle when lowering. The axle pinion angle shifts down toward the ground as the truck is lowered. To compensate, a shim from the rear of the axle must be inserted to raise the pinion angle.

The vibration in the driveline has been eliminated
5/5

After a 2" rear drop on my 15 F-150, I decided to get this. 150 During deceleration, I felt a vibration around 23 mph, and acceleration felt like a drag. In about 20 minutes, I had these installed and the boom vibration was gone. On the nose, the pinion angle was 2 degrees. It comes highly recommended.

The shudder has been eliminated
5/5

I noticed a slight shudder at low speeds, especially when decelerating, after lowering the car 2 inches with shackles, and I could tell the drivetrain was dragging a little. The issue was resolved with the use of these shims. It was very simple to set up.

After the HD Spring upgrade, the ride has become much smoother! My vibration problem was completely resolved as a result of this
5/5

The SD Heavy Duty upgraded springs were used to replace my sagging leaf springs in my 04 F150 FX4 SCAB. After the upgrade, I experienced launch vibration (a 20-percent increase). 30mph). Following the installation of these two It's been restored to its former glory with 5° shims. I promise to keep this review up to date if anything changes!.

On the 2015 Ford F150, the vibration was fixed
5/5

2" rear lowering shackles were used to lower my 2015 F150. While decelerating mostly at 25 mph, there was a driveline vibration. 30 mph. This problem was resolved with the use of these shims.
