The vertical distance between the axle and the transfer case changes when a vehicle is lifted. The shift in distance causes an angle shift in your drive shaft, which can result in vibrations. You can restore the original driveline angle by inserting a shim between your spring perch and spring.

One of the shims in the set I received had a larger center hole than the others. They appear to be fine, but when I received them from Amazon, one had already been drilled out and returned by someone else. I purchased the item as part of an Amazon warehouse sale. When they receive returned items, things like this are sometimes overlooked, and they simply relist at a lower price. It can be hit or miss at times. I haven't had the opportunity to put it to use yet. I guess I'll give it a shot and see what happens. I wasn't happy, but I was given a partial refund.

Rancho always has good stuff

Shims performed admirably in my old Tundra. The perch was well-filled, and the pinion angle was corrected. I didn't have to cut or move the perches because of this. for now.
