COMP Cams Race Street springs are designed to fit hydraulic flat and roller camshafts that are used in racing.

Higher lift cams are a popular choice for street/strip engine builds because they provide more stability. COMP's Race Street line is designed for engine builds that are used on the street as well as on the track, and it greatly improves performance at higher RPM and valve lift.

COMP's Race Street Springs come in a variety of installed heights ranging from 1.25 to 1.75 inches. 640" - 2. 000", as well as. is from the first. 1:101" They have a diameter of 590", making them suitable for both modern and OE iron heads. To ensure a good spring for your heads, simply match your spring pocket measurements to the appropriate spring base OD, then compare the spring max lift to your valve lift.

The 930 spring is particularly beneficial to the Cleveland, Modified, FE, and 429-460 engine platforms. More power can be harnessed from more aggressive camshafts thanks to increased lift capacity and spring rate over the 924 spring.

Questions & Answers

Is this a pair of 930 springs with a damper or a single spring with a damper?

I'm using the same set bracket racing with a comp cam 574 578 lift and 284/296 duration, and I'm using the same single and damper. Going into the second season with no problems is a no-brainer.

They're valve springs, to be sure

Comp makes some nice valve springs. It's the same as what you'd get from some of the online speed shops. JUST A BIT LESS EXPENSIVE! They went in without a hitch and were up and running in no time.
