This pan as well as the WIX 58923 (filter and gasket) were installed in my 1968 Mustang coupe with a C4 transmission. The hose was perfectly sized and did not leak. The drain plug makes it incredibly easy to replace the TRanny fluid. It keeps the pan from falling over.
The kit was used on the 1965 Ford Mustang with a c4 transmission. It is not mentioned what the torque specifications are for the drain bolt (why is it not stated?) It was a bit loose, so I tightened it up a bit. My transmission fluid drained from the drain bolt the next day, after I had not added any fluid to it yet. I will return this soon if you do not send me a torque spec.
After waiting 24 hours, tq was checked and trany was filled over night.
Trans pan looks beautiful and the drain plug works well, but the washer on the plastic gasket.
It would be helpful if I were able Would it be possible for me?.
