Exactly the same as the original. The problem is not an issue.
I received a pan with a filter and gasket along with an extension for the filter. The pan is amazingly shiny and good.
It's a great oil pan, and the drain plug is a nice touch.

A leaked report from the New York Times. The book I ordered from Amazon arrived I ruptured my gasket, and oil began leaking back onto the cylinder head There is a lot of white smoke coming from the pipe. From the very beginning, leaks were happening. IB & I According to M support, everybody uses rubber gaskets and this is the first complaint he has received (it must be a new complaint). In spite of the fact that pan comes with a cork gasket, people get by with rubber gaskets. Well, I see a lot of these pans being sold on EBAY like new, why might that be?.
I can't get it to stop leaking, but it's pretty. A cork gasket and lube locker gasket have been tried. Perhaps I need to put back on the stock pan. Edited for clarity
To flatten the high relief indents, I used a shop press, then ran a bead of ultra grey around the recessed edge without sealing it. The leak has been stopped. B&C has no respect for the law It shouldn't have been necessary for me to go through all that. I anticipated better from these guys.
