For diesel trucks, this is the best way to change the oil! It's been a year since I have installed it, but I just had to change the oil
5/5

I had a coupon for a free oil change. The dealer installed it the last time I changed my oil. My favorite valve of all time! The oil in my 15 quart diesel Ford F350 was changed with only a little over a teaspoon of oil spilled on the ground. A 3" section of hose was cut for each nostril so the hose could just hang in the empty jugs. As I opened the valve to let the oil fill the container, I watched as the oil slowly filled the Rather than filling it too fast, I prefer to have it fill slowly. After the first container was full, I flipped the lid and switched in a new one. The driveway has been hit by 2 oil drops. The fluid was drained, the filters swapped, and the oil was refilled in 35 minutes by casual workers. My only thought was that my drain pan must have been a nightmare. I would have had to stop draining every 5 quarts to empty it into a jug using a funnel, then start It would be enough to drive a man to tears if he did that three times. Fumoto valves - which are extremely durable - are a must for anyone who owns a diesel truck that uses a lot of oil.

Use only with gas engines
3/5

DO NOT use with diesel engines. This item really deserved a 7 when I had it. It has been well over a year since I installed a 3L Powerstroke, but I have never been able to seal the oil pan. This is a great concept, and it gives me a lot of ideas. I think it would work great for gasoline engines, but there is just too much pressure for diesel engines to make this work. There may also be a 2nd bolt with a gasket in the end, but the release arm may leak.

I'd love to use this as it would help me stay clean when changing oil, but the need for a pressure washer in my driveway and garage keep me from using it For my engine, this doesn't make sense as I'd have to purchase twice as much oil and twice as much filter oil before I can change the filter.

I was able to use this on my 1999 F350
5/5

Three thousand miles ago, I installed the system and I had forgotten I installed it until I changed my oil today. It was an absolute joy for me to climb under the truck and yell "YES" when I answered the phone. As I pulled off the keeper (placed it in a safe place), flipped the lever, and crawled out from under, it was time to go. This has been modified in order to increase clearance by getting rid of the hose attachment. Although I don't drive off road in my 2WD, the added leverage created by the hose attachment made me nervous, and I knew I wouldn't want to do so anyway (I think they sell a model without it and I would buy that one if I were doing it again).

I cannot think of another vehicle I would rather drive than this one! In my opinion, this is the best and most underrated innovation I've seen in a very long time
5/5

I bought this for my 2005 Suzuki GSX-R600. This was the first time I stepped the threads on an aluminum oil pan since they were stepped. I believe the $25 price is well worth the peace of mind I get from not having to worry about stepped threads again. I take advantage of this easier method more often, and changing the oil is quicker as well, since I don't have to wait for the engine to Any driver who does his or her own oil changes will benefit from this product. I have also bought these for all the vehicles in my family, and I never want to go back to using plain.

The cooling system can be flushed in minutes with this tool
5/5

It is three of these that I have installed on my 2006 Ford F350. A-0 diesel takes the place of The oil pan should have 111N on it, and the F- should have 111N This can be found on block drain number 108N. The goods are of high quality and I feel that they were worth the price. A block drain with 108Ns was able to flush the 6 with ease. Besides installing plastic hose on the block drains, I also re-worked the cooling system of the 0 diesel. There is a gasket on the front of the engine that needs to be removed Reuse the O ring from the block plug when you replace part 108N. I didn't get the F Oil changes should be quicker and easier with the 111N installed on the oil pan. There are no leaks, but they are a bit difficult to operate the first couple of times. Install them on the engine before running them.

I am amazed! Vehicle owners don't want to miss out on this must-have accessory
5/5

Having installed 2 drains on separate Powerstrokes, this is the second one. It eases the hassle of changing the oil and allows me to never worry if I have copper washers on hand when changing There is a slight disadvantage in the amount of moisture it drains, but the benefit of ease of use outweighs this trade-off. My usual method is to use a zip tie instead of the safety clip since it is a pain to install. Provides the capability to drain the engine oil partially in case of a leak without the hassle of having to install the factory plug As well, you will no longer have to worry about overtightening the plug and stripping out the oil pan.

It's much easier to change the oil now! The Miata one I had fit my Ford E-150 perfectly, and I was very happy to find a Ford Miata one that would fit the E-150 The number of 450 is In particular, because it holds 15 quarts of oil, it is perfect for 0 diesel

In addition to its replacement of the OEM plug, this drain valve eliminates the mess created when the plug is In the event that you have a large engine with a large oil capacity like I do, you can close it once your oil catch pan gets full, as the lever locks in place, and is un-openable by accident. A rubber or plastic hose (clear is ideal to see when the oil is finished draining) can also be attached either in the drain hole or over the nipple, if you pay a few extra dollars for It might be possible to direct oil into gallon containers, such as bleach bottles, instead of cleaning the oil pan, if your vehicle is elevated. The following are two things you should know before you place your order. The first is Especially if you get one with the nipple, it extends quite a bit further from the oil pan than the OEM plug does. Hence you need a certain amount of clearance to walk on the ground. in my low-sitting A recessed plug may be found on some oil pans. There may be an extension/adaptor that you need to purchase if yours does. You can buy them on Amazon too, so you don't have to worry. Once you use this valve to change your oil for the first time, you won't feel cheated. This is an idea that deserves to be embraced long ago, and whose time has come!.
