Fumoto F-106N Engine Oil Drain Valve

Upon taking out the oil pan from my Honda Accord, I noticed the Fumoto valve's thread part is about 1/16 of an inch higher than the oil pan bottom. This explains why it keeps capillaries above the oil pan, thus keeping oil at or above the levels. There is 2 qt of oil in the course, the dirty part.
I will keep it on my oil pan, but will replace it with a pump when I change my oil next time. As before, I have always wondered how the new oil I put in became brown after only a few days of use.
