It would appear the 3TNV series has a 22mm x 1 size if you have something in your collection. The plug has five pins. Some Yanmar motors, however, also have a 18mm plug. Without precise model matching, it would be easiest to take a measurement of the bolt or match it up with a nut to figure out its
It looks like the nut that holds the internals together of the valve is responsible for keeping the nipple in place. If I were to open the valve, I would be concerned about the valve being damaged. You would have to really dig up there to get to it, I think you would have to do quite a bit of rock climbing to damage it (chances are, even without the valve, you would smash the oil pan). While the nipple sticks down an extra 1/2" more than the non nipple equipped valve, it makes oil changes much cleaner since the nipple produces a nice straight flow into the container or pan.
In accordance with our size charts, a T-drive should be used on the Cummins ISX T211 (standard style with no nostril or T211N (no nostril, hose compatible), as long as the vehicle has its stock oil pan (factory original).

It fits perfectly. It is powered by a 7L diesel engine. The valve is solid as a rock. The oil can be changed faster and more efficiently with this device. As well as allowing oil changes while it is hot, this will enable maintenance to be performed. It surprised me how well the valve locks into place when closed after I was concerned about how secure the valve would be. In order to add another layer of security, I put a lock tie on it which can be simply cut when it's time for a In addition to offering an oil sample for testing, the valve allows you to have a sample taken. It was an accident that I had a blue cap lying around, so I put that on just to keep the.
The oil change kit is a must have if you change your own oil. The model number of my phone is I use a Cummins 7l engine and it is fantastic. When I was a kid, my mom used to call changing your oil without one of these valves like pissin' on a flat rock, because we didn't have these valves in Montana. You can end up with a big mess when you pull out the drain plug and 12 quarts of hot used oil gushes out at you. It is annoying that oil does not flow out smoothly with this valve, but it is easy to control with it. My method is to use tubing and drain into the empty oil jugs from my last oil change, which works beautifully. Many people believe that it is possible to accidentally drain your oil by running over road debris if these things occur. What a bunch of nonsense that is. This is what my dad runs on his semi trucks that travel more than 100000 miles per The only time one has been accidentally opened is when he was a child. Purchase this to do yourself a favor.
I've been using it on my 5 for a while now. We have so far driven 30k miles on 9 Cummins engines. There are no leaks and the drain is I think that the flow is a bit slow, but that's the price we pay for speed. You can either click over a tab to reverse its direction or reverse thread a drain plug until it clicks and then you can pull it away so you won't burn your hand. Also, that oil is highly Additionally, AND! You can catch mid drain oil flow easily if you do regular oil analysis. You simply drain off the first flow, close, and watch the next one. The same way a urine test works.
It is impossible to compare a Fumoto oil drain valve to anything else. The buses we use these on are rated for severe duty service. They remain in service for 12 years before being sold. The first time I change the oil, I install Fumoto valves. My clothes have never leaked one drop at any time, not even once. In order to be on the safe side, I get a spring-style ring clamp from Lowe's or Home Depot. I believe they are 1/2′′ or 5/8′′ in size for this particular clamp. As for finding what works for you, take it into the store with you. This is a very cheap product. The ring is sturdy and I like the fumoto clip now that is available but I like the clip more. The fellowship of the ring is also a key element of the ring. You drain slowly if you do it cold because of the narrower passage. In most vehicles, however, a manual will advise getting the vehicle to operating temperature before changing oil in an attempt to remove as much dirt as possible before the oil changes. This is fine since hot oil shouldn't hit you since the shift lever just needs to be flipped. Another thing to keep in mind is the oil filter.
A 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 was purchased with this item. A perfect fit was achieved among the threads. It is easy to operate the valve, and all the parts seem to be of high quality. As I do not have the time test for it, I doubt that is going to pose a problem. We put a little oil on the seal, set according to the directions, and there were no It would not be a problem to attach either a hose or not a hose to the vent, or you can drain it without one. With this tool, I will no longer have to struggle to change my oil. I don't have to spill hot oil all over my hands or arms anymore. In addition, this will be good for getting samples to test.
It was obvious that I was worried about installing this valve. If anyone tells you that this valve is capable of spontaneously opening, they are completely naive. When you want to open it, you can be hard pressed to do so. If you open it accidentally, it's even harder. I also hear that it might break off if it is hit by something, but this is not likely on this application (2013 RAM 2500, 6". A 7l Cummins) is just behind the front axle, so the drain plug is just behind it. It is inevitable that something will damage the oil pan if it hits this close enough. With no mess to deal with, oil changes are now a breeze. Buy one of these instead of covering yourself in engine oil, and stop covering your body in it.
I use it on every vehicle I own / It is running on a Ram 2500 with an automatic 6-speed transmission. This engine has a 7 cylinder No mess along with the ease of draining 3 gallons of oil! There have never been any leaks and the oil pan threads have never been stripped on this system.
It is highly recommended to purchase this drain valve now, according to anyone who has installed it! I don't think anyone finds it all that fun to have 12 quarts of hot oil shooting out of their diesel engine, mostly over their arm. Over the nippel, slip a short section of hose to control the direction it flows. Due to its very positive locking mechanism, you won't end up with all your oil spilling out on the ground. The truth is I don't see how anything could work like that. The rigs I use all have these.
