who? The lock washer is flimsy and too large for the head of the bolt, causing it to split apart and fall off if any decent torque is applied to the bolt; I had to use thread lock to keep it from loosening (bad news given how important this item is). It is, however, a lovely gold color. Over the years, I've learned not to expect much from Mr. Gasket, and they've managed to ruin a bolt and washer assembly.
Lock washers are inexpensive and should be spread out at the correct tq. Mr. gasket, we're running out of money.
So far, it appears to be working. When I ordered it, I was a little worried because the washer in the photo appears to be stamped. The one I got, on the other hand, was a machined washer.
It claims to fit a 2000 Corvette (LS1, the engine's only option), and it's a fraction of the size of the original bolt.
It accomplishes the task at hand.
After a year of use, the crank broke off.
It did exactly what it was supposed to do, and it tightened up my harmonic balancer.
