As long as they are the right size, then these bearings will fit just fine. I used them in a LM7-5. There were 3 of them and they worked well. I gained 900 horsepower with a boost of 21 pounds and a timing adjustment of 15°. The rods need to be reconditioned/line honed for the tighter clamping force if you plan to run aRP 2000 rod bolts.
If you don't adjust clearance, then you will have just fine clearance. The only time you need to adjust clearance is if you've cut the crank or if you have a high horsepower engine.

The wear and tear from high horse power applications is very high in these and so I use them on all my engines.
There are two types of bearings that make the best race bearings if you are building a race motor. The HP series and the XP series both have excellent performance capabilities, but I think the XP series are a little better than the HP series.
