Selected User Reviews For Billet Honda Cam Seal - Black
Since I was replacing the valve cover gasket, the mechanic suggested I change it out. It looks great in black, but I'm not a fan of the other bright colors. It's been two weeks and there isn't a drop of oil on it. To ensure that it lasts as long as possible, make sure you or your mechanic use HondaBond HT or a gasket sealant. If you don't, you'll have to replace the valve cover and cam seal cover. It is, in my opinion, extremely well-engineered. When people told me to stick with the OEM cap, I was skeptical at first, but this worked better and I believe it is far more engineered than the OEM plastic cap. I prefer OEM products, but this looks and performs just as well as OEM products. I highly recommend it; if installed correctly, you can't go wrong.
In my B18B Integra, I replaced a leaking original OEM cam seal. This seal outperforms the OEM seal, and it's simple to install. I just used RTV around the cam seal and followed the installation instructions in the Integra factory manual. The oil leak is no longer a problem. If you can believe it, the local Honda dealership wanted $700 to fix the leak.
Looks and price are of good quality.
Box has created a fantastic product. My Acura Integra's came seal was leaking, so I bought this to replace it. It's a fantastic product that's both long-lasting and attractive. This is a product that I would recommend.
Perfect.
