Despite the fact that I had read several negative reviews, I ordered this thermostat and it worked perfectly. The housing combination was perfect for my application and had no design or manufacturing flaws. The car now has heat, the check engine light is turned off, and no coolant leaks have been discovered. That takes care of all of my requirements for this product.

Molding job was poor, and quality control was poor

Thank you, Amazon, for getting my item to me so quickly! But I had to drill out one bolt hole due to a poor mold job. Quality assurance is lacking. It also claims to include a seal, but there was none in the box, so I had to go to an auto parts store to purchase one. But, after all that effort, it did fit and function properly. That's all I've got to say on the subject!.

The first one was a complete failure

Waiting for a response from the exchange. The first one sent out will not open with boiling water and should be opened at 192 degrees. Returning with an exchange request. I'll update my review once I receive the second one.

When it stopped working after six months, they sent me a new one that was damaged for three weeks. I would not recommend it.

The material is of high quality and is quite thick. My car's OBD code was cleared after installation, and the check engine light is no longer illuminated.
