There are two motors in the motor. As a rule of thumb, the distance between the radiator fins and the very outside of the motor is 3" (instructions state 3 3/16"). My fan is mounted on a 1966 Mustang radiator that is a tight fit but it works. The cutest little fan ever
It is recommended that all radiator fans be mounted to a shroud so air can be drawn across the radiator's entire surface. In order to use the fan directly on the radiator, you must ensure it covers the entire radiator. If however, the fan only covers 1/2 the radiator, you can only use the fan to cool 1/2 the radiator. In low-speed situations, such as driving in cities, sitting at red lights, or moving from one stoplight to another, this is particularly important. Since 1994, I have been an ASE mechanic.
The mounting kit includes the relay, but the relay needs to be purchased
It will be best if you check the manufacturer's website to find out the specifications.

Flexible is the way to go Simple. I purchased an electric fan kit from eBay specifically for a Silverado (Silverao). It is the 16-inch electric (no name) brand that came with the kit that replaced the clutch fan. Due to truck running hotter than it did with clutch fan, I decided to replace one fan with the above Flexfan I lit the flame to see if there were any differences in temperature. As soon as I held my hand behind the fans, I could tell that there was an issue with the Flex-'s Fans with the no name brand moved more air than fans with the lite. One issue that I had with Flex-style was the Flex-style was kind of annoying, but really it's not a complaint There is a noticeable difference in volume between the lite and no name fans. In reality, it isn't a bad thing, because the fans are now This fan is highly recommended and I plan on replacing the other no named fan with another one.
I love it! It moves a lot of air through the aluminum 3 core radiator of my blown 1970 Chevelle sbc 350 with air conditioning. It is a bit noisy as expected and costs more than the off-brand fans, but it is worth the investment. When there is heavy traffic in Hawaii and the outside temperature is in the high 80s or mid 90s, the engine runs cool and the air conditioner stays cold.
No name brand fans are something I have purchased in the past. It would have been best to purchase the Flex Alite fan from the beginning. It works perfectly. Use a togel switch at least 20 amps or higher if you are using one like me. On my 1971 Ford F250, I'm very pleased with the performance of the fan. It provides plenty of air flow for my radiator. It is important to note that a 20 amp togel switch will not handle the current. Changing to a 30amp togel switch has made a big difference. A 20 amp switch is unlikely to overheat like a 15 amp one. Here's an update on how the fans are doing. In hot weather of more than 100 degrees, it works fine. On my computer, I have a 160 deg t-stat.
A surprising amount of weight has been added to the unit despite its very well constructed design. The only thing I would recommend to the manufacturer is that mounting points should be Some fasteners or mounting systems aren't included with the kit, but seem to be needed to use the mount points.
Despite the fact that the 1980 Firebird Trans Am has a modified Pontiac 400 engine, it does not overheat when idled. You won't be disappointed! It will be interesting to see how long it lasts.
This is a great air mover. A generic no-name fan has a flow X2 that of a generic Noise is a bit bothersome, but I will take it over lack of airflow in my opinion.
Some people have commented on how they hear my fan running whenever I pull up in a car. It feels like there is air moving past my legs when I open my car door and step out. I found this fan to be the best fan I have ever used.
During the installation of my 1998 Ford Ranger pickup, I installed this fan. It's not easy to drive in Albuquerque, NM during the summer, especially if there's a lot of traffic. In addition to keeping the air flowing continuously across the radiator and air conditioning cooler, this fan is also whisper quiet. Overheating is not an issue on those days when it is 100 or more degrees. In place of the clutch driven fan, this fan is belt driven. I can hear the engine while I am driving for the first time. With the old noisy fan, this was not possible. In conclusion, this fan works great and is an excellent replacement for the oft-used factory stock.
