I set up shop on my own

Instructions, a shifter, and other items were included in the package. I set up shop on my own. Instructions, shifter, shifter housing, and hardwear were all included in the package. The only things missing were the shift knob (TRD shift knob) and the orange TRV seal that Toyota recommends for sealing the shifter housing to the transmission. Fortunately for me, the dealer shift was right down the block and only cost $7. Yes, it is worth it in terms of performance, and it is a difference between day and night.

Amazing! I should not have waited as long as I did

It's a night and day difference since I installed it on my 2006 Toyota Tacoma. I didn't like how clunky my truck felt when shifting, and this quickshifter makes it feel firm and sturdy, just like my old Ford from the 1970s. I should have bought this a long time ago because it is so much more enjoyable to drive.

Don't be hesitant to try something new

get one. While getting my car serviced, I had mine installed and purchased. I could have done it myself, though, based on what I learned on YouTube. I'm not sure why these aren't included as standard equipment. It makes the experience of working shifts so much more pleasurable. I don't drive fast, but I do shift smoothly and at low rpms. This shifter makes me want to get up early on a weekend and go wherever the hell I want. purely for the pleasure of driving. br>The truck is a 2014 Tacoma Sport TRD. Manuals are the most important thing.
