It can be easily installed by using a brass insert and a lock nut of appropriate size. I really like the size and feel, it hasn't budged and looks as great as it does in your hand. My recommendation is to try it out.

In spite of sweaty palms and hot weather, I do not With a few modifications, it will go on nearly any vehicle. While I found the right size to match the thread, the pitch was too low. All the adapters included with the device were ten-pin adapters My credit score was 50, and the 12/1 I needed was 50. Because the brass adaptor is tapped to the right size, I simply tapped it to the right size. It worked beautifully, except I had to cut my short throw shifter because it was too long and hit the inner top of the As a result, I had to cut the threaded shaft of the shifter by one inch and get everything In addition, I had to use washers to fill in the gap because the shaft was larger than the threads and the insert bottomed out on the shaft and wouldn't go lower. Thus, I added washers to take up the slack where the boot ring for the shifter would be, but I wanted to keep it in sight because the shifter looks so nice. It is likely to find a metal sleeve of some type that is chrome to replace the washers.
