I doubt it would take as long for shipping as long as it had to be on backorder from the factory. A week would be about the time it would take for shipping without this option.
For the tremec 6 speed found in late model Camaros and Mustang GT's with hurst shifters, this kit is made for you.

If these were part of the shifter kit, that would be great. The system works well. My comparison cannot be made to the stock nylon bushings since I installed the pit pack from the factory at the same time as the shifter to avoid future problems. It was only a matter of compressing the bushings enough before installing the shifter that I had a problem, but it Despite the poor bushings, the shifts are crisp and I don't have to worry about play or the bushings prematurely failing.
The short throw shifter with this accessory is a must have for any Hurst short throw shifter user. I changed the feel of the shifter on my Camaro to be more solid and removed nearly all Bushings on the original engine were in very bad shape when I got them. As others have stated, the only complaint I have is that this solution fixes an inherent shortcoming of Hurst, and it should have been included as part of the original product or priced close to.
I have installed a new shifter (25 inches tall) since I bought the car with 11,400 miles on it. In the field I noticed a 0-10,000 improvement after replacing the shifter with a short throw Hurst at around 50,000 miles. I found out that GM and many auto repair places said that there was nothing they could do for me. In my call to Hurst after locating the part, they informed me that it would not work. There was a mistake by all of them. Since installing this part yesterday when I reached 100,500 miles, there is less than 1/4 inch slop (iggle), so I'm less concerned about slippage. Only regret is that I did not find this earlier.
It's been a few hundred miles since I started on it. A considerable amount of tightening was done to my shifter. I had to crush the orange o-rings because the fit was so tight You have to ring a bit to get it to work. I'm not sure why the shifters at hurst don't come with this. This bushing does not cause any more vibrations than the old, crappy plastic bushings.
With the Hurst Camaro shifter installed, my CTS-V is all the better As for the Delrin bushings, the same issue of shifter slop arose. The problem was fixed by these steps. Now we have nice and firm shifts.
I had no issues installing the software. It's a good game, but you have to buy it. So I took 1 star off. There ought to have been an installation of these. The bushings should not be Teflon.
I found it to work exactly as it was intended to. Removing all of the side-to-side play in the Hurst shifter is necessary.
