My CV axles were in desperate need of replacement after 270k miles of brutal abuse. Because I checked for excessive play once my own were out, I assumed they were worse than they actually were. The old boots had begun to rip and pop in places. br>br>These new ones are definitely more substantial! The only difference in fitment that I can see is where they connect to the front differential. They don't appear to be as secure as stock, but they're not coming out either. Maybe I'm going insane. I'll keep you updated as new information becomes available. br>br>**Update October 2021*
I've only been on the highway and haven't done any off-roading. I live in Arkansas and enjoy road trips. These have held up well, but both inter boots (the ones that connect to the front differential) are completely torn. As a result, I'll need to get a new boot. I believe that replacing them every year for zero abuse is a bit excessive.
The boot ripped after about eight months. It'll work fine until then, but with no warranty, you're better off going to a local parts store that will warranty it for life; I expect more from a part I paid full price for. And with a description like that, it's hard not to be impressed. I'm surprised I only got eight months after making their CV boot.
br>It is of excellent quality.
