The clutch master on my 1991 240sx went out, so I figured while I was at it, I might as well replace the slave. The unit dropped right in and was very easy to bleed it's been working well for me day to day for several months. There have been many criticisms of this paragraph because, (correctly) people note that this is not actually an EXEDY product. It appears to be an unknown brand that Exedy makes claim to represent as its own, so the description may work as a misdirection. Even though I don't place a lot of value on brand names, I don't place much stock in them. Recently, it has become popular for well-known companies to rebrand cheap products There is nothing unusual about brands that are well known. In any event, the actual box is honest about the origins of the design. In a lot of ways, Equal is the same company that Equal is. It's a good idea to check first before thinking you were sent parts from a different brand. Furthermore, as well! Being a drift car, I still abuse it as if it's from a daily driver, yet it's installed on an automobile I do not regularly drive. Despite being installed over a year ago, it has been performing well so far.
The slave was fine for the price, but now less then 2 months later it is leaking, and it is coming from everyday use, I don't drive the card "hard" or "beat it".
Exactly what I needed.
My old one was bad and this one worked so well I did not even need to use my vacuum pump.
It's really nice to have an aluminum.
