We've got a few issues
3/5

The Honda Civic EX is a 2005 model. The bushing connector piece and the pin that screw into the hydraulic line are not included. In order for your old one to be replaced, you will need to remove the U pins and pieces. This is kind of chincy, if I may say so. It is a 1 star rating. It was also too big of a bracket that connects the master cylinder to the clutch pedal, so I had to use my old one. You could possibly have bent it closed more, but you couldn't really. Then I give it one star. Thus, 3 stars, though it seems to work quite well The slave cylinder in my 2005 Honda Civic EX was also replaced with the same brand as the master cylinder.

After a week, the experiment failed
3/5

I changed the whole clutch system, but within a week it failed! Here are a few pro tips There is a high likelihood that the connector for your clutch petal will not work as it will be the wrong size. Make sure you compare and confirm fitment before installing. Prior to installation, make sure it is adjusted properly. When you need to adjust the clutch while inside the vehicle, use vice grips to turn the rod to decrease clutch pedal You shouldn't try to reduce the play from the master to the levels that the ads.

DO NOT USE THE LINKS PROVIDED, but rather the old ones
3/5

USE ONLY THE LINKAGE PROVIDED, DO NOT INSTALL THE I would suggest using the old version. When you remove the pin to remove the hydraulic cylinder from the pedal, you will not be able to put it back in with the provided linkage part. As difficult as this part is to change, I find it almost inexcusable that Exedy will keep selling these. It usually makes me want to never buy anything from Exedy again, but this time it makes me want to never It will save you a lot of time and effort if you install the old linkage before you place this part back into your firewall. There is a small problem here. The linkage that comes with this clip is just a little too wide so that it cannot pass back through the pin that attaches it.

I have an 2006 Acura RSX and it works fine I have an 2006 Acura RSX and it works fine This unit (or any other cmc) would have been hard to replace on this car due to the small space available
4/5

I love the CMCs without the clutch delay valve, though. There are some bad things to mention This unit makes pedal vibration more noticeable when shifting between gears 4 and 5 The maximum speed is 6000 rpm.

Despite being in bad shape, the clip that holds the flare fitting to the master cylinder wasn't in good condition
4/5

My creaky clutch pedal has been completely cured after only driving with it for a day. I had to change the flare fitting on my master cylinder because the clip holding it to the master cylinder was in poor condition. If you plan to tackle this project, you may wish to purchase the following Honda part number The S5A -.

This is a fantastic OEM replacement
5/5

There is nothing better than this replacement for your OEM CMC, and the price is fair as well. CMCs without the triangular plate cannot handle anything other than stock clutches, so you should buy a CMC without the triangular plate if you have something other than stock. You will no longer have gear grinds after doing this. In addition, depending on your situation, you may or may not need to adjust the clutch pedal height. It's quick and easy to install if you're.
