The plate is not there. All the clutch master plates I have ordered for my car are broken along with a bolt on the plate. As the fourth one, this is the last. The bolts they use are all grade5 and cheap. In order to ensure this would not happen again, I replaced the bolts The gasket between the plate and the body of the server blew out after a year and five months.
I just found out that you can replace it with the clutch master from a 2001 Honda Civic and there will not be a leaky plate.
I didn't receive one, nor did the rubber grommet come with it. For the area where the brake lines enter the brake cylinder, this did not come with the rubber grommet. Grommet from the original unit failed to seal, so we tried using a new one. My friend and I ended up going to the auto parts store and buying one There was a sign in the picture that suggested it should have one.
In the original equipment, the master cylinder outlet bore was different from the current version. Since the steel line fitting did not fit the smaller diameter of this master cylinder, I had to remove it from the steel line and have it machined rather than wait for another one to be shipped to me that may have the same problem.
After two days, hydraulic clutch pressure has not been maintained. We were almost at the end of the reserve. A brand new clutch master cylinder was found to be leaking at the joint between the casting and the three bolt side plate after being refilled and bled. There were three bolts on the master cylinder assembly that were barely snug. Bolts have been tightened, fluid has been refilled, and the system has been bled. Since then, it's been working fine but, man, what a pain! The quality control is missing, where is it? I have updated Three months later, it started leaking again. There's garbage everywhere.
In January, my clutch master cylinder broke. I bought it on January 26, but it broke again on February 28, 2017. Despite my effort, the clutch pedal sticks to the ground on my car, and the gears won't engage It is not necessary to spend time and money on the clutch master cylinder because it is not from Exedy.
It is very nice now that we can engage the clutch and it has been about a month and it works great. We will update in about a month to let you know if it is.
The rating states that it is not a good investment. The first week of its development was defective. That's not even the case with Exdy.
Easily installed with direct bolts. I had no problems with it and it corrected my issue. As well as the slave cylinder, I will definitely buy from them.
