Questions & Answers
Correct, the rears are 1400 and the fronts are 1399.
The factory rotors can be used with these brake pads. I went ahead and did it. They've been on my 2014 Ram 2500 for about 6 weeks now. I'm happy with how they performed.
They might fit a 2010 3500, but I'm not sure.
No, I do not believe that is true. The axles were replaced in 2013 with more modern models. To make sure, I'd call PowerStop.

The second set had been completely destroyed when it arrived. Two clips were missing from the third set. I like the brakes because of how clean they are and how well they stop, so I think I'll just tack weld the spring clips back on and call it a day. I don't want to send it back and have to wait another week for more broken pieces! It irritates me that Power Stop makes such low-quality clips that break easily, and Amazon ships items as if they were sent by a three-year-old. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> The clips were unable to be welded. I returned the third set and tried again, finally succeeding on the fourth attempt! They were undamaged, undamaged, undamaged, undamaged, undamaged, undamaged, undamaged, undamaged, undamaged, undamaged Both sides took about an hour to install with my 9-year-old daughter. I went through the break-in process and have now driven them for a few hundred miles. There are no issues. They produce very little dust, do not squeak, and provide excellent stopping power. Finally, I've reached a point where I'm happy. However, I am hesitant to change my overall rating because I believe that product delivery should be considered in the overall rating of product quality. The fact that two of the four arrived physically damaged reflects on the product's overall durability and quality.
I've been doing this for nearly four decades and have never had a break. I had no choice but to walk to the closest auto parts store and purchase a new set, which fit perfectly. A total of $52 more. Lesson: Purchase your parts close to your home so that a helpful individual can make it right on the spot. It was especially difficult for me because I have a bad heart. Support the auto parts store in your neighborhood. They've got your back, and they're not going to let you down.
One of the shims fell off the pad, making it difficult to replace the caliper without the shim falling off. To hold it together, I used a peen hammer to pound the rivets. br>br>Because the spring clips were bent in the first place, bending them back made them weaker. br>br>However, the pads do stop my ram 2500 quickly and quietly, and the fitment is fine aside from those two major issues.
Aside from that, I'm pleased with how they fit and perform thus far. So far, I've driven them 1300 miles from Minnesota to CoeurDAlane, Idaho, in my truck camper (4200lbs). The stockers and cleaners have less stopping power. My photo was taken after a lot of rain, several mountain passes, and a total distance of 1300 miles.
They appear to be decent, and after 1,000 miles on them, I can't say I'm disappointed. The springs that hold them in place on two of them broke during installation, making it a pain.
I just installed the front and backs on my 2013 Ram 2500 and I'm really happy with them. I've driven a few thousand miles and can tell a difference in braking performance; they're much cleaner and quieter than factory pads. However, I have not yet had the opportunity to determine how long they will last. Also, be cautious of the metal tabs when installing. They're delicate, and bending them too much will cause them to break.
Unless otherwise specified, you should expect a NEW product to be brand new, unopened, and unused when you place an order for one. I was extremely disappointed to receive a product that appeared to have been previously installed, with broken brackets and bent clips. Unfortunately, I had to make things work because my truck had already been torn apart (my fault, I suppose, for not opening a box containing new parts to inspect the parts condition? ) The moral of the story is to check the condition of your order before you start working on it!.
br>Update: 11/14/19 These brake pads are still on my truck, and they have plenty of life left in them! I only haul my camper about six times a year; everything else is highway miles. I've put about 100k miles on the truck since installing these, and I'll buy them again because of their durability and braking power. I just wish they could fix the brake dust!.
