I have these on a C5 Corvette, but since it isn't a street car, I can't comment on how well they perform or last on the road. But they're better than most of the autox pads I've tried. I'm not sure I'll use them on the track because I don't think they'll last 20 minutes. They'll be used for hillclimbs, which are usually only two or three long runs.
It's a mind-blowing performance. These items, on the other hand, should not be advertised as street-legal. They scream so loudly that they can be heard from a mile away, and no amount of proper bed-making can quiet them down. in or halt- Only when they heat up to their optimal temperature, which happens only on the track, do they become quiet grease.
These pads are fantastic for autocross and probably light tracking as well. It's ideal for a vehicle like mine, which I occasionally drive on a daily basis but mostly use for events.
All day long, with plenty of bite and no fade, it performed admirably. 30 minute sessions with break down speeds ranging from 140 to 45 miles per hour into a hard turn. There's still a lot of pad. Just so you know, I'm not a novice when it comes to track days.
The pads are fantastic. br>br>They are filthy and noisy, but I was aware of this prior to purchasing. They maintain their braking power in high-speed driving events such as autocross and road racing after standard brake pads lose their bite as they warm up.
I've had these a few times and they're always delivered on the street. autox. Track pads, on the other hand, are not included. Take a step forward with a new track pad.
For HPDE track events, this is ideal.
