A real inner diameter of 11/32", a nominal diameter of 3/8" and an outer diameter of 9/16" are the real dimensions.

The carburetor, fuel and oil lines are designed to fit this hose

With -40 degrees F to +350 degrees F temperature range, it can be used for a wide variety of application types

Are you sure that this fuel line works with diesel fuel?

If you are between sizes, you need to get the next larger size.

How do you install hoses and fittings? Do you need any special tools?

It wouldn't really be that difficult to use a grinding wheel to cut the pipe length.

This works for fuel and I am very pleased with it. What about transmission lines? Can this type of inner line be used?

This is supposed to work for transmission fluid, as I believe it is Teflon coated inside, since e85 can be used in it.

Exactly what I was looking for! To cut, you need a good pair of snips. However I had to use an angle grinder to cut thru the stainless braids. This works great.

There is a gas smell in the garage due to fuel lines

These braided lines replaced the hard line supply and return lines in my system's water supply and drainage system. This is a 6AN fitting. Neither leaks nor problems with the pressure were observed. There is a problem, however, whereby any gasoline these days contains additives that seep into this fuel system, causing your garage to smell like gasoline. In lieu of Teflon or PTFE, use a line made of these materials.

This is not for the 3/8 oil line fittings that Harley Davidson uses

The system cannot be used with regular 3/8 hose barbs such as those used on Harley-Davidson oil lines. They are designed to be mounted on fittings such as those used on high pressure lines.
