It isn't even a quarter. It has a 3/8" NPT thread! According to the previous response, I ordered 1/4" but it was too small.
It does not, in fact.
Npt fittings are required, but for boosted applications, Teflon is always recommended.
It doesn't work like that at all. Only the 1/8" plugs come with it.

Here are some of my thoughts on the quality:
- Because there are no fittings included, the cost adds up quickly.
- br>- Six 1/8" NPT fittings (two on the wither side)br>- a single 3/8" NPT fittingbr> **Newbies take note** - NPT fitting sizes are the devil, and they have very little to do with the dimensions you'll be measuring. Check the photos uploaded for comparison if you think you have fittings at home but aren't sure.
- All plugs are included, but you'll need a 5/16" and 3/16" hex key to install them.
- The logo is not the same as the one shown in the image. I didn't want a gleaming logo and instead wanted a simple black and white design.
- Hollowed out in the rear upper half, a little surprised. So half of it is just for the logo advertisement, which serves no real purpose, and if firewall space is limited, take measurements first. br>- The quality of the finish is outstanding.
- The manufacturing industry is strong. Threads that are free of debris. Though I'll use a little teflon tape to secure the threads, they tighten up nicely. The 3/8" NPT has three threads of engagement for sealing the cavity before it hits it. The 1/8" NPTs have five holes. There are six threads total.
- "Made in Taiwan" is written on the package. Will without a doubt complete the task. br>br> Even so, it's a little on the expensive side - Given the lack of fittings and the large advertisement, I'll most likely buy something else next time just to compare.
It's beautiful to look at and even more so to use. My vacuum readings are more stable and accurate now that I've cleaned up my vacuum system aesthetically. br>br>I didn't notice this in the description, so I'll include it here. The inlet is 3/8" npt, while the outlet is 1/8" npt. To ensure a proper seal, use thread paste or PTFE tape. Finally, for the primary source of vacuum, I tee'd into my brake booster line. I would probably recommend adding a separate half-inch port to your intake manifold and ignoring the booster, but it worked fine for me.
There is a lot of unnecessary material in the wrong places in this block, and there isn't enough material in the right places. It's a lot more substantial than it needs to be. Given how good many of their products are, I was hoping for more from vibrant. Unless you intend to use it as a structural member of your vehicle, there's no reason for this block to be aluminum. A far more appropriate material would be plastic. br>br>The large central npt port is machined far too close to the edge and with insufficient material. If you tighten this fitting too tightly, the block will crack along the very thin wall of material. The block is easily thick enough to provide adequate wall thickness on both sides of the hole, so this is a disastrous oversight. At this price point, I am unable to recommend this product. These oversights are not present in the low-cost Chinese blocks, which make much better use of material.
It was well worth the money. Vibrant is a great choice.
I saved a lot of time and cleaned up the engine bay by welding bungs for vacuum ports on the intake. I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat.
It's a fantastic product that works perfectly!.
I'm a picky person, so I wanted something that had everything. a block of black The logo was bright silver. I returned it and replaced it with a plain summit block with no logo.
There are no issues.
