Yes, I did use it on my 1971 Chevy C-body. 10 350.
The Spectre 5953 heater hose fitting has a 1/2-inch NPT thread, a 5/8-inch barbed hose fitting, and a 1-foot overall length. 3/4 inch in length
I'm not sure what you mean by adapter, but it should be compatible with the heater hose. I hope this helps.

The fit is excellent. Keep in mind that the OEM hose fitting is 3/4" in diameter. I got it to work by tightening the clamp enough, but I'm going to replace it with a proper sized fitting. In addition, because the oem hose has an angle on the end, you won't need to buy an angled fitting if you reuse or replace the oem hose with oem.
It is unmistakably a pipe, one that functions and transports goods.
It was thicker than what was available in the non-returnable section of the local hardware store. fittings with a rating.
It works well and has a nice appearance; I recommend it.
The chrome finish looked great and performed admirably.
I'm not sure what to say. It's a fitting for a hose. The chrome, on the other hand, is quite nice.
