I bought it to use as a water pump, and it works perfectly.

Is this going to fit a 1970 Chevy 250 6 cylinder with a short pump?

I don't believe so; I tried it on a long pump and it worked perfectly.

The chrome is very nice. On a 85 350, it works well. A long water pump and power steering are included.

I HAD TO UPGRADE THE TRUCK ENGINE BECAUSE IT WAS RUNNING WELL

THE TRUCK ENGINE IS WORKING WELL, BUT I HAD TO UPGRADE MY PULLEY IN ORDER TO CONVERT TO POWER STEERING. AN EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED PURCHASE.
