For my 5.9's EGR coolant lines, I've been using this stainless braided line. I've had my '93 Mustang for over 5 years and have had no problems with it. At highway speeds, my (inside diameter) coolant temperature is 180 degrees, and in traffic, it can be 190/200 degrees. After a 20-minute drive at highway speeds, take an (outside) temperature reading on the lines. You could simply use an oven thermometer to read the temperature of the line that runs against the engine; it's an old fashioned method of reading temperatures, but it should tell you the outside temperature at the very least.
Yes. For that purpose, that line will suffice.
Yes, I believe so. I purchased them several years ago and no longer own the vehicle. The hose comes with clamps, and the chrome piece slides over them, I believe.
Due to fittings, I'm not sure what the inner size is, but I believe it's 5/16 od.

(WEAR SAFETY GLASSES) I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews about cutting this stuff, but I believe it's because people don't know what they're doing. How, what tools do you have, and how long do you have to wait? All you have to do now is measure twice and cut once. I'll buy it again if I need it.
On a 45-year-old car, I had to replace part of the fuel line. Using a cutoff wheel on a Dremel, cut this to length. It's currently the most attractive thing under the hood. In addition, the delivery time was fantastic. I would recommend this product and this vendor to anyone who requires their services.
too bad. When I took it out of the package, I discovered that one of the clamp screws was cross threaded. I got the pre-recorded audio. The braid was frayed when I installed the clamp off the hose; if I had installed it as is, it would not have held. The clamps on the hose are difficult to install, and I believe they are a little too small. I'll invest in a better set of clamps and skip this one when I need steel braid hose again.
The aluminum and steel hose clamp ends are too small to fit the braided hose, according to another reviewer. Wires protruded from the aluminum hose end, and the braided cover was buckled on the one partially assembled end from the supplier. In the middle of the hose, there were a few stray wires. I would not recommend this product.
Good.
It is extremely difficult to set up. Mine began to leak after only six months. I tossed it in the trash.
