The steel braided weave on the outside had been harmed. Because the outer weave was coming apart about every foot or so, I could only use half of the steel braided hose. I was going to return it, but I had a deadline to meet, so I had to make do with what I had. Very let down.

I bought this to go with my high-performance engine, so I wanted it to look nice, but I also needed to conceal the flaws. At $20 for ten feet, it's a good deal. This has made me extremely happy. For my supercharged 347 Mustang, it's well-made and performs admirably. It's a lot easier to route than plastic or copper lines.

High-pressure braided line, which I stiff and hardtop work with, is not required for vacuum. This looks just as good and is a lot less time consuming. After cutting the ends, I apply electrical shrink sleeve tubing. It's fantastic.

Scissors are definitely not easy to cut with. But aside from that, it was exactly what I needed.

Hose is of poor quality and very flimsy. When compared to a rubber hose, it is not worth the money.
