This line is thick, well-fitting, and attractive; I've replaced all of the vacuum lines in my bmw e90 335i with it, and it performs admirably. This line is highly recommended, especially for 335i engines, which run extremely hot.
This product is not what it claims to be. The vacuum line's opening is smaller than stated, and it's extremely thick. Quality-wise, the line is very durable, but the sizing is incorrect in every way.
It isn't blue in the least. The vacuum hose arrived in a timely manner and appears to be in good working order (3. 5 ID x 10 feet), but the blue shown in the photo is not the color that was delivered. I got a purple hose with a slight blue tint, and since I don't want a bunch of purple vacuum lines running under the hood of my 535, this purchase turned out to be a waste of money.
It is a nice solid, snug fit that fits perfectly. The hose is much thicker than the one it replaces (which was all brittle and dry rotted), and it was simple to cut and bend. Perfect for my requirements and easily visible in the engine compartment.
****After 8 months, the first summer in Arizona is still fantasticbr>br>Replaced all of my vacuum lines in the search for a leak. I really like how it turned out. The hoses are holding up well, though I've only had them on for about a month, so I'm pleased so far.
This product is not only inexpensive, but it is also more durable and attractive than the factory-supplied vacuum line. There were no issues or complaints.
From stock, this is a significant improvement. Fits like a glove and is malleable.
This is the third time I've bought it to replace the vacuum lines on my N54 335i. Although it is a good product, I have noticed that mice enjoy eating it. It might be an issue if you leave your car parked for long periods of time, as I do. They seem to enjoy it. For those who have better sealed garages, this isn't an issue, but I'm having trouble keeping them out.
