SWITCHEROO, THE OLD - It seems to work for me
5/5

I got a great deal on this hose because it was a returned item. They're fantastic hoses, and they're brand new, so I'm not sure why they were returned, but my old ones were in bad shape. I wasn't about to put those back on my brand new 2-year-old 2-year-old 2-year-old 2-year-old 2-year-old 2-year-old 2-year-old 2-year-old 2-year-old 2-year-old core G- Aside from that, the Force Aluminum radiators were only slightly more expensive than the standard rubber hose replacements. When I received the new silicon hoses, I immediately recognized why they had been returned; it wasn't because of poor quality or mechanical issues; it was because THEY WEREN'T RED. The box was labeled RED, and the picture of hoses on the box depicted awesome-looking RED hoses, but these are black. HMMPH! I had no choice but to install them because I needed to get this car back on the road. Now, these are perfectly fine as plainly colored BLACK hi-definition televisions. performance silicon radiator hoses, and wow, I am very pleased with the deal I received. If an unintentional switcheroo at the factory allowed me to get a high-tech, high-performance upgrade that I would not have gotten otherwise for such a small sum of money - that's fine - My new black radiator hoses for my red GTO are perfect for me. **Note on installation** If the lower hose does not seem to fit on the t-slot, use force. Don't give up on the water spout in the housing; simply turn it over; the hose has a different diameter on each end, not by much, but enough to prevent it from fitting.

Not a great idea
3/5

These hoses perform admirably and appear to be of high quality, but there are a few things to keep in mind. If that sucker isn't clamped down, the top hose will slide back. It happened on my car, and I've seen it happen on others, where the power steering pump pulley begins to cut into it ever so slightly. AN IMPORTANT LEARNING HAS BEEN EXPERIENCED. On the radiator side, do not use the stock spring clamp; instead, use a good t bolt clamp. The radiator fits perfectly in the bottom house, but the thermostat side is WAY TOO TIGHT. A friend of mine gave up and threw away his car's bottom hose. I'm a little more stubborn than he is, so I was able to get it on, but MAN WAS IT A MISSION. That hose is so tight on there that it doesn't even require a hose clamp to keep it in place. The hose and the thermo outlet are now inseparable. It's definitely not the right size for the engine side, but it's doable with a lot of effort, and once you've gotten through all of that, they look great and don't swell up, which is a plus.

Is it possible to get a poser hose? However, as a replacement, I bought them again
4/5

On my 2006 GTO, I also have black silicone Mishimoto hoses. Because of contact with the hose support, the upper hose developed a pinhole leak. The hoses look the part: orange silicone inside, abrasion-resistant. I'm hesitant to replace them with the same part because I've had cheap parts store hoses bulge, scrape, torn, and abused that lasted longer. I'd give it a ten out of ten in terms of appearance. However, durability gets a 4 out of 10. br>br>UPDATE (May 29, 2015): I determined that the Mishimoto hoses are the highest quality hoses available for my application after conducting extensive research, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt on the small pinhole leak. As a result, I purchased the set once more. I gave the new hoses a four-star rating after inspecting them. The new hoses appear to be made of wrapped silicone of the highest quality. They're a perfect match. As a result of the first set's failure, I'm going to take a five-star rating off the table. It looks great, but due to the fact that these are a, installation is a pain
5/5

It looks great, but it's a pain to put them together because they're such a tight fit over the wires. I ended up removing the thermostat housing so that I could brace it against the floor and use my body weight to press the hose on.

Awesome! However, it is difficult to set up
5/5

The length is ideal and the durability is excellent. Because they are extremely difficult to put on, I had to google several methods to try and get them on; the one that worked for me was Dawn dish soap (a lot of it).

They're great, but they're a little pricey, and once they're on, be careful
5/5

They've turned it on! When I replaced my OEMs, I had a set of these. To cut a long story short, I finished my LS2 and needed to order a new set. They're on and won't move once they're on!.
