Despite the fact that I never revisited that site You should use a gasket for your pan. There is no leak on the garage floor now, so it is a small price to pay.
AOD 4 speed is listed as fit for 14 bolt axles as long as they have 14 bolts
Yes, do not over torque the nut

No One Could Do Thanks to the new AOD trans, I have finally been able to cease the annoying leak. I got a bad reaction not just from the leak, but from Mercon V smelling I used it on my stock stamped pan as well and found that it worked well for sealing up aluminium pans.
This is the gasket I used instead of my stock gasket which could have been reused. With the Chiton manual and torque ratchet, the torque was set correctly, the old one was kept for a month in case something went wrong, and now everything is working fine! Leaks are not present!.
Despite the fact that this particular gasket is not recommended for the stock pan, I used it and now neither my driveway nor car will leak, leak, leak fluid. When it comes to reusing, as long as you do not crush it when installing it, it is possible.
I definitely recommend it for AOD.
A lot better quality than the rubber gasket that came with my filter. I used to have a leak at the rear of my transmission pan. This one was 3x thicker and much better built. Tightened pan in a crisscross pattern and no leak has emerged since.
I had fast shipping and I have nothing bad to say about these pan gaskets. They are the best ones on the market.
This works perfectly with a new transmission pan, and we haven't had any leaks since installing it.
