According to the company, these are precision machined to a specific specification and should fit any vehicle. The factory battery clamps on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler wouldn't grip these terminals tightly enough. XS Power claimed that my post clamps were stretched out, but I find that unlikely given that the only other battery in my Jeep was the factory installed one. Furthermore, when I measured the size of the XS Power terminals with a micrometer, they were slightly smaller than a standard battery terminal. I don't remember the exact measurement because I didn't write it down.
Yes, you'll need to either modify one of the posts or purchase a new one from a hardware store. This was the problem I was having with my set.
3/4 - 1" tall, about the same height as an old-fashioned battery post
So, I'm assuming.

D3400- should be worn Ring terminals and factory stud clamps will be connected with this device. "Socket Cap Screw M61" is the name of the screw(s). If you're like me, you'll put them in the engine bay as "0 x 30mm. ".
I purchased "shims" that turned out to be too large. Finally, I secured it to my XSPower battery for my 2004 Acura with a couple of paper clips. The new specification, or spec, is a set of rules that must be followed. I had previously purchased a sufficient battery, but it was not able to withstand the cold nights. In the coldest Colorado winter mornings, the XSPower battery performs admirably, with no signs of strain. But I'm not sure if the creators were only thinking about powering sound systems or something else. They do the job, but I'm not happy with them. And if you had any negative thoughts at the start of this review, you should be ashamed of yourself!.
Because of two factors, I gave it four stars rather than five. br>1) The thickness of the posts was still insufficient to allow the battery terminals to close tightly around the posts. [*]br>2) The positive adapter could be rotated by hand even when fully tightened. [*]br>br>For the thickness issue, I cut out two slips of sheet metal from my garage and wrapped them around the posts, adding a few millimeters of thickness and allowing the terminal to clamp on tightly. br>br>To solve the problem of free rotation, I purchased two double-sided lock washers and placed them beneath each adapter, which worked perfectly and prevented either of them from rotating. br>br>The adapters are of excellent quality and should not cause any problems for anyone else, but they had the two issues mentioned above for me (which were easily resolved).
They lock in perfectly, are made of solid brass, have the perfect length screw, and even have cross hatching on the surface to ensure a secure grip on the terminal connector you attach to them. br>br>However, it isn't worth it for me. I consider it a waste of money to spend more than $50 (excluding the wire). You'll need to buy these, then the 2/4/8/10 terminal connector, then wire reducers to fit in the holes, and finally the screws won't tighten down properly or will strip out. br>br>I hate to be the naysayer, but instead of a pretty battery, I could have gotten a nice LOC or BT module. br>br>However, I don't believe you can do any better if you require these. They are of excellent quality.
One is thicker (positive) than the other in literal terms. When I first put them on my battery, I didn't pay attention and had to swap them. Solid connection and ideal size for my battery clamps (once the proper orientation is attained). To save space on the battery clamps, I ran my battery tender cables underneath them. If necessary, I can also disconnect the battery while remaining connected to the tender.
To my 1996 Mazda Miata, I installed a BS12 LiFePO4 battery. It works perfectly. PRO: br>br>PRO: br>br>PRO: PRO: PRO: PRO: PRO: PRO
- hefty and well-madebr>- Without any adjustments, it fits standard automotive terminals.
- The setup is very straightforward and straightforward.
- price that is reasonablebr>- All mounting hardware is included, and it's ready to go on your chosen battery. br>br>CON:
- There aren't any major drawbacks, but the manufacturer could have included a suitable hex-key. included an electrically-powered key for screwing the terminals to a battery, or included an electrically-powered key for screwing the terminals to a battery To maximize current flow, use conductive paste or gel on the battery's integral terminals.
An ATV/Motorcycle battery was transformed into a cell that could be used in my BMW M3 with ease. The car starts and runs, and it now weighs 40 pounds less in the rear right corner. This kit was extremely well-made, with sturdy metals.
Electricity conducts through it like a dream.
