XS Power 580 Short Brass Post Adaptor (M6 Thread)

The product arrived on time, and I chose the xs series battery because it was the only one available where I bought it with credit. I had to order the posts from here because they didn't have them. br>First and foremost, it specifies that the battery is compatible with my vehicle. Because of the wiring with the battery clamp and a strange fuse on the battery, I had to remove some of the plastic ares on the clamp just to make it fit. br>However, the review is about the posts, which I dislike because they are screwed in. They will eventually become loose and unscrew, resulting in a dead cell, in my opinion. While tightening the post clamps to the posts, the posts screw became loose, and I had to retighten it. Batteries should always have posts attached to them. br>When a screw loosens and the posts on a battery loosen, it's dangerous. I would recommend purchasing a battery that has built-in permanent posts.

When I typed in my oem battery (Group 48) and oem battery terminals (2013 Cadillac CTS-V) into the xs power website, these were the posts that came up. On these, the V Coupe) did not fit. The quick release clamps couldn't grip them because they were too narrow and had a slight taper. So, because I was in the middle of a car audio installation at the time, I wasn't going to try to figure out what part I needed, order it, and wait for it to arrive at my house. My car had already been dismantled, and half of the equipment had been installed. As a result, I had to cut the oem terminals off my battery cables and replace them with ring connectors. THIS WAS NOT AT ALL WHAT I HAD IN MIND.

I'd finally gotten the battery I wanted, so it was time to swap out the old xs power battery for the new one. The battery terminal was too large for the adaptors after the long journey to replace the battery on the 2014 Chevy Malibu. It didn't fit, and I was so disappointed. So I read some reviews and discovered that others had the same problem with the adaptors being too thin to connect to the battery terminal. Then I noticed that one of the adapters was larger than the other in a review. Wow! After swapping the adaptors, it finally worked!.

The negative post is too small for the negative clamp on my car (a 2013 Hyundai Veloster). The battery current sensor is on my stock ground wire, which is required to properly charge my car. This is a problem because I could just bolt a new ground wire under the post, but the battery current sensor is on my stock ground wire, which is required to properly charge my car. My XS Power battery has become largely useless as a result of this issue. I'm extremely disappointed, and I'll probably avoid XS Power for the duration of my ownership of this vehicle.

By calling XS Power, I was able to confirm that Big Jeff Online Inc is an authorized seller. It's important to note that the posts aren't designed to be the same size.

The terminals themselves are excellent, but the accompanying hardware could be improved. Because the thread engagement was coarse and the terminal counterbore was much larger, the terminals tended to walk around until they were seated. It would have been preferable if the center bore had been sized appropriately for M6 hardware, or if the hardware included had been a shoulder bolt to center it.

I liked that I could mount it to my battery with different bolts, but it cost half as much as the battery it was going to replace.
