The good: 1) appears to be of excellent quality. br>2) The gloves, rust brush, and paper instructions are all very useful. Saves me from having to look up the correct order to clamp the battery endpoints on the internetbr>3) the asymmetric clamp theoretically gives you more clamping optionsbr>br>The bad: br>1) Squeezing the clamp was much more difficult than with smaller older jumper cables. I mean, it's not difficult with an easy endpoint, but doing it in an awkward space was difficult. It takes a little muscle, and my weak hands found it difficult. 2) The clamps on larger jumper cables are thicker than those on smaller jumper cables. Now it was time for me to put it to the ultimate test: clamping it to a cramped Ford Focus battery. I was, however, able to complete the task. I've included a picture of it clamped in the inconvenient location. The asymmetric clamp didn't help all that much, but it did help a little. br>br>Overall, I believe these jumper cables are of good quality. They'll suffice for the majority of vehicles. However, if you require a very narrow clamp nozzle, you may wish to look elsewhere. However, smaller gauges are difficult to come by. So it's probably best to just buy it and try it out. You can always return it if it does not work.
The wire gauge, length, and sturdiness are all excellent. It's something I use every day, and its durability hasn't been called into question despite being dropped and thrown around. I'll be ordering more because it's such a good deal.
First, I've given it three stars for durability because I'm not sure yet. Because it's brand new and hasn't been used yet, there's no way of knowing how long it'll last. br>br>I was looking for a good set of jumper cables because my current ones have a habit of running away and finding new owners. I was pleasantly surprised when they also included gloves, a metal brush, and a carry case, as I was only looking for the cables. I know it was my fault for failing to read beyond the cable's specifications, but who doesn't like getting something useful in the mail?.
The springs are sturdy, and the overall design appears to be long-lasting and capable of withstanding the heavy use I'll be giving them. It is unquestionably good value for money.
I like how long the cables are because some cars have batteries on opposite sides of the car, so some cables are too short, but these are perfect, and the clamps are fantastic.

Because cables are longer than the length of a car, you can still give someone a jump if they've nosed in. br>The cables are 4 gauge, which is nice and thick and allows the electrons to flow freely. br>The clamps are big and firm, and they grip the battery posts well. br>These are the cables you'll need if you or a friend get stuck.
When you hold a high-quality cable in your hands, it feels well-made and sturdy. I purchased these to use in a DIY roadside emergency kit and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed them. I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet, but the handles are well-made and coated. I would buy it again and recommend it to others.
