Questions & Answers

What if I want to use this product If I paint our stove, will it come in a high gloss like this? We were planning to paint it, but the products don't come in a high gloss like this?

Among the products made by Rustoleum is the Appliance Since I first got it, I've used it all over the house, from refrigerator sides When it dries, it forms a hard, shiny finish and is virtually There's going to be a need for that.

In order for this to cure, does it have to be heated? Is it possible to spray this material and allow it to be used up to 500' if it is sprayed? If you use the inside housing of your headlights Are there retrofit options for projectors?

To ensure the paint is as durable as possible, you'll need to wait until the paint has fully cured before heating. Heating before the paint has completely cured can cause it to bubble and/or flake.

I want to paint my car's brake calipers, but I need to know how well this product works. ?

If you remove the calipers from the truck, clean them well, clean them of rust, and put a primer on them, I think this paint would work well. Paint like this can be used on a lot of different seems to be very durable, but it does take a while to dry.

The product is really gasoline resistant, isn't it? Would you be able to advise me on a product that is resistant and does not tarnish after spilling or splashing gasoline in my tank?

As far as I know, it can tolerate gasoline, but I haven't tested it for myself because my engine has never spilled anything.

My experience over the years is great, I used it on parts for cars, rims, and motors
5/5

In the past, I've used this product to paint a motor (red block, black head) and transmission, and it held up extremely well to heat and oils. Even painted the firewall and engine bay white and it laid on easily and cleaned up with an easy wipe. So I painted the rims on my boat trailer to protect against salt and also to make them look nicer than the galvanized steel that was starting to look worn. I'm happy with how things worked out. A sample picture of this review was taken 3 hours after spraying 2 heavy coats (15-25) The distance between them is 20 minutes. Cleaning the grease from a broken hub/bearing resulted in the use of a wire wheel on a drill to remove any loose material and rust. I then used Isopropyl alcohol to remove all the residue, then painted the hub/bearing. Although I could have taken a little more time to sand this and wire wheel it, but what can I do? There is nothing to complain about and I would highly recommend it.

A good paint job for an engine
5/5

My five will be painted with this paint that I purchased. My engine is a 3 LS. I used Rustoleum 500 degree engine primer first and then painted this on top. A nice Chevy orange on an LS engine in a 1968 C10 looks great. This product delivers good quality paint results, as evidenced by my experience with it.

The process of making trivets with This was purchased as part of a craft project. Tiles can be used to make trivets. A trivet has to withstand heat from a pot or pan and it's necessary for the finish to be resistant to heat. This product provides a protective coating on the tile to maintain its painted design. As far as I know, it does (I painted three coats), and the decorative top of the trivet remains undamaged.

The skin will wrinkle if you try to fix flaws after the first hour! Having been through this many times, I learned this lesson the hard way
5/5

As a lawnmower and snowblower deck restorer, I specialize in Ariens lawnmowers and snowblowers. The Chevy orange matches Ariens orange exactly. The first step is to dust it first (spittle coat) so the next coats have a good grip on it. You must wait for all color coats, up to three, to flash (about 5 or 10 minutes per color coat) before applying It is necessary to paint two coats of clear. This paint flows very well, and it will blend beautifully in just a few minutes, if you have a little patience. You want the air to be hot and dry to dry quickly. You must wait at least 6 months in warm weather for wet sanding to cure in order to fix a run or whatever you are trying to fix. To get the job done the first time, patience and light coats are.

This paint is suitable for some touchups on my Ariens snowblower
5/5

I purchased it for some touchups on my Ariens snowblower. As I read, this paint is similar to Ariens' touch-up paint and is less expensive. Match is extremely close (how close does the car appear to be?). Are you talking about a Definitely) Before I sprayed anything on my snowblower I sprayed a piece of scrap metal. The cost of a single can of Ariens paint shipped was 1/3 the cost of two cans of this paint.

As predicted, the temperature remains steady and does not deteriorate
4/5

Colors of this shade of blue are really nice to me. I like what I see. As part of the preparation, I cleaned the parts, used the same brand 500° paints, and cured the paint Even after curing the primer separately before applying the blue paint coat, then curing the blue paint coat fully, applying a clear coat, and curing the clear coat fully, I still found that the paint can chip easily. It's best to put on at least three coats of each my suggestion is- A possible solution could be to apply several coats of primer and clear coat. It seems to be holding up pretty well so far, and the high temperatures have not changed the paint color. I do not know for how long it will last. After driving for over a few weeks and at least one weekend, I felt comfortable on the road with my Jeep. My wife and I worked in the a/c for five hours straight, with temperatures outside between 70 and 80 degrees, so everything even looks the same.

A RustO Aluminum product
5/5

This looks incredible, and I hope it stays strong for many years to come. A 22r engine block was painted in a theme to match the built. While the final outcome was not exactly what I had in mind, it was better than I had imagined. I can't seem to get a good picture of this. It looks like a candy blue! A lot of preparation was necessary to remove EVERY bit of oil, grease, and varnish. The RustO High heat Engine primer has been applied 2 coats. The RustO High heat Aluminum primer has been applied 3 coats. A coat of MetalCast Blue* followed by 3 coats of RustO High Heat Clear.

The material needs more time to dry than they say
4/5

I really like the paint. It works well, comes out of the can easily, and it's glossy. The only problem is that it takes longer to cure than it says on the can. In order to paint an engine, I painted one side with primer and paint, let it dry for at least 19 hours, then flipped it over and painted the other side. Since the paint also adheres to the cardboard I sat it on, I had to touch it up when I picked it back Drying the paint gives it a smooth texture. A few spots seemed to be sticking poorly to the wall, but they filled in as the paint dried. Does not seem to work well with second coats because it seems to leave a bumpy appearance after drying. Getting the first coat right is the key to success.
