I found it to be an excellent fit for my 2004 150HP four-stroke. I am not sure about the model you have.
I'm sorry, have no idea. It is "unpredictable" how the color match will come out. Due to the way I used this product, I contacted Yamaha over the web, ordered the right color code and also did not receive the right item.
It will help level hairline cracks and nicks in fiberglass. Moeller Sandable Primer works on fiberglass, too. A watertight seal above the waterline is required.
My hunch is not true go to your local paint store and get them matched

The color matches perfectly, and it applies evenly, but you need to apply a lot of very thin coats. Following the cure for a week, I also wet sanded the paint with 1500 grit and 3000 grit then followed by buffing compound and polishing compound, along with a new coat of carnauba wax and You painted it so well!.
