Grit is what makes us tick?

Among the questions I asked Permatex Technical Services were I am interested in 80036 and 80039 " is one of 80037. There are four different grits included - 120, 150, 180, and If you use the compound as it starts at 120, it will eventually become 220 after you have worked it. It is 36 minus 38 when divided by A ratio of 37 to 1 I would like to choose 3 and 5. The tubes are 0 oz.

What kind of compound is this? Coarse or fine? Would it be appropriate to use it to lap a motorcycle valve?

The material I used probably would not make a smooth finish on valves, but it probably would make them look a little rough. The leather left some blades rough after I used it as a sharpening strop for some blades.

In order to get a polished finish, does that mean you have to do it again with a finer grit or not? Please do not overstate my case Grind the valve as much as you can. ?

With a bend valve on a 351W I used this and did not use finer grit and never had an issue good compression test results

The blades of reel mowers can be sharpened with this product

My goal was to sharpen the blades of an old reel mower with this grinding compound. When I cleaned it off, I adjusted the blades so that they would scrape the mower as they spun. I applied the grinding compound to the edge of the blades, then let my wheels spin for a while, each time the grinding compound sharpened the blades as they hit the Even with just a little bit of it applied to each blade, it worked perfectly.

As a result of purchasing this compound, I am able to get a slight extra bit of bite on screws when the screwdriver or bits start to slip. The tacky substance is especially useful when trying to remove Phillips head screws where the head may strip, making extraction more difficult. A quick dab on the screwdriver tip will do the trick as long as I apply pressure to the screw while I turn it. I love having this product on my site It would still be nice to have my own valve grinder, even if I never grind one!.

I was able to loosen the tight side cutters with ease! Even though I'm an experienced electrician, I used my new side cutters as a hammer because of my inexperience

It's not that I hit them hard, but what I hit was. The doors had to be opened and closed with two hands. Despite my best efforts, I was unable to loosen them up. This product took five minutes for me to explore. Wash with WD 40 and then rinse with water. For the second repetition, I repeated it for 2 times The time is 3 minutes. After wiping clean and rinsing again, repeat. You would think they were new, or even.

I will no longer use this because it is too coarse

Precision engine valves are far too fine for such an old valve. Maybe this can be used to lap the valves on a 1948 farm tractor, but it is much too coarse to use on the valves of a motorcycle. My experience with 2 stroke bikes is large, I've also rebuilt many 4 stroke bikes. I bought a Toyota TRX90 that was running with bad gas before I bought it. There was a bend in the valve. As a result, I ordered a new one and watched a video on YouTube, and voilà, I was able to turn the valve with this lapping compound and mate the This version of Quad runs well and is now available.

As I write this, I am sharpening a reel-push mower and have a second to do as well. As a result, I'm very satisfied with the product since it is abrasive enough to sharpen the blades. The only thing I wish is that I could have purchased a tube that is about half the size for half the price, as I won't need to use it for a very long time.
