(PW7) Mopar OEM BRIGHT WHITE C/C Touch Up Paint for Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep

Questions & Answers

This color code is similar to what is on the 2017 Durango's White Knuckle?

You can find your paint code on the front door of your car on the driver's side. A PW7 paint code is associated with this item

The paint you use for touch ups has a clear coat, right?

A white coating can be found on one end of the pen and a clear coat on the other.

Can this paint be applied to a 2017 Jeep Patriot in white?

My knowledge of the matter is limited. Look up the paint code on the inside of the door jam on the driver's side If it finds what you need, then you can use it.

Is plastic compatible with this? The paint I want to use should be applied to my white fender flare on a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. It's about half an inch wide where the chip is located.?

I think so, if you do not have a very large chip. It would be better to spray it if it is. When applying it to plastic, I would layer it thinly.

A bright white paint code is PW7 (Bright My purchase of the Dupli-Task was successful The cream color was in the color version. Initially thought it was simply due to the fact it was a Mopar brand. However, I bought this Mopar version and it still didn't work. I still see a cream-colored background. How can we get this right when it's so tough? There should be a PW7 instead of a The reason we have paint codes is to prevent tampering. I don't think this is some special candy metallic shade. You'll never guess what color it is.

This is a great item to have on hand
5/5

The doors need to be opened and the tires should be big to fit me. My door hinges usually get thrown back into the crack when I do this, often with rocks/debris inside. The metal was chipped straight down to metal in several places. Jeeps are more prone to rust than other vehicles, which is why this problem needs to be addressed on a timely basis. Despite the price of ten dollars ($14 shipped), the applicator works and the color match is perfect. You can either use it as a ball-tip or as an applicator. The attached brush tip can be used as a paintbrush or as a point pen with the cap. Obviously, I do not see this as a solution for painting large areas, but it works great to fix smaller scratches. I'm not sure how long it takes for this stuff to dry, but it stinks crazy when wet. There is a good chance you will need to apply many The bottom line is that they are nice things to keep.

You shouldn't take this on if you're an amateur
3/5

It may seem simple enough to follow the instructions, but applying the color and top coat may not be. As you can see in the picture, the top coat is really sticky and has The chip covers were just two small wrinkles, so i didn't freak out about how bad it looks, but if I had the money, I would have paid a professional to do it for me. In any case, at least that will protect from further paint chipping, so at least it is a peace of mind, but i wouldn't do that again.

I think it's pretty important to have color matched
3/5

It is important to match colors. There is something strange about the applicator. This looks more like a cross between a spaceship It doesn't make sense.

The product worked great on my Dodge Charger when I followed the instructions on the package
5/5

A jerk keyed my car sideways on the passenger side. One of the doors was so deep you could see the primer underneath. The product worked great on my Dodge Charger when I followed the instructions on the package. I did not mind having to apply multiple coats in the deepest scratches because the results were good. The color match was perfect and I did not have to apply multiple coats in the deepest scratches.

I found this to be very helpful! There's a little bit of color mismatch, but the overall effect is still good
3/5

I used it for my 2017 Dodge Charger (Bright/Knuckle White). I filled in the small key chip I received when I got stuck in traffic- Door on the left side of the passenger. It is so small, that I no longer notice it. I found this to be very helpful! There is a bit of a color difference, but it's hard to tell. I wouldn't recommend this for large scratches. EDIT 3/11/2018
Off- My car has a slightly different color and seems more like an egg white. It does not match the Knuckle white of the car.

It is not a paint stick as shown in the picture
3/5

The paint stick in the picture is what I was looking for - a simple brush inside, like they have been making for years. One side of this thing has something like a pen, and when I pulled back the other, I got all this clear goo all over my hands. There is no return policy for flammables on Amazon so I can't even show you this piece of crap. The garbage can goes straight to the end of the line.

It worked as it should, the paint colors blended seamlessly
5/5

I was able to touch up the paint to the same color as the original. Despite some other reviews stating that the pen side (for fine scratches) did not work for them, I found it to be completely effective. It's important to remove the orange plastic stopper in the case of the pen/roller ball before using it for fine scratches. This will let the paint run more It is possible that some people were unable to use it due to this reason.
