The surface was prepared by scuffing and cleaning it with SEM. Then, let the plastic dry, and then prepare it in SEM. I found it to go on very easily and leave a smooth finish. Excellent product that I would Both bumpers, the grill, and both side mirrors were done with 3 cans.
I had some wheel flairs and bumper paint on my 2000 Audi abroad that needed refreshing, and my body shop recommended this trim paint, which is a blue/grey mix that is identical to the factory finish, and it gave me like-new results. I will do the same for the bumpers next. F wheel flares can be done by one person. The four coats (four layers).
I live in a hot, sunny, and rainy city like Orlando, Florida. After cleaning the bumper thoroughly with a Scotch Bright scouring pad, I painted it with the fresh paint after it had a chance to totally dry. I did not prime it It would definitely be recommended!.
Two months ago, I painted mud guards on a 2003 Toyota Tundra. I am very pleased with how they turned out. We are really pleased with how well the paint holds up and how easy it goes on. Then I did 5 light coats, let each dry for a few minutes, then repeated the process. It took 24 hours for them to dry, then I reinstalled them. Because the stuff is a little expensive and not really needed, I did not bother with the plastic prep or primer. It took me no more than spraying them with a degreaser and using a scotch pad to clean them. That was all the preparation I had to do. " As for the sun drying, I only rinseed them and let them air dry. I believe the actual color of the liquid is maybe a half shade lighter than the lid.
My black Volvo lived in Sunny Central Texas and California for a long, long time and when the burn in my bumper needed to be repaired, I decided gray would match my faded bumper well. I was prepared to mix paint to fix it but it went on perfectly and looks amazing. It makes me so happy to see you.
This is not an April Fool's joke. Using multiple thin sweeps will ensure that the work is properly prepared. As it is such a thin mix, it saturates the work nicely. There will be no problem. Despite huge tree pollen drops, two big rains, and many automatic brush cleanings, the grass still looks as green as it did on day one. A new review will be published in a few months.
I am very pleased with the results I get from paint by SEM, and this is the first time I have used their service. The first time I used this, I lightly sanded with 320 my 89 Ford F-150 grill, removed the dust and wiped it down with simple green, then applied 3 to 4 light coats and it turned out awesome. It's a little expensive, but the results are worth it.
I decided to use this as a paint match for my older truck, just expecting something close, but it turned out to be I did have to sand a few times and apply a couple of coats, but it matched perfectly.
