Finished spray painting 4 17" rims and I have enough paint left over for touch-ups.
For my carbon fiber hood, I used two cans of plasti dip from Walmart that were black matte. It has been 4 years and has not yet peeled. This is the third coat added to the house in October Making the mistake of doing it during humid and hot weather was a mistake. It's best for me to explain by saying you can see these dry dull spots. Despite this, it has held up well overall. If you are going to do it in the garage, do it in a closed area. I did that the first time, and that worked best. The second time, though, I did it in a carport with humid weather at night. That was a bad move.
In terms of a bumper, I'm not sure since I had it on a rip for over a year and it just hasn't started to wear off yet. How many coats you place on and how well you maintain them will determine how long you need to keep them. Every once in a while I also had my car power washed. It should give you a good sense of what it is like.
The use of aerosols on entire vehicles is not advised. It's recommended that you have at least six of them There are seven sprayable gallons in a vehicle this size, and an HVLP spray would be appropriate.

It was priced right where I wanted it and the plasti dip holds up well. Furthermore, it improves the appearance of my car by a factor of ten. However, I am not sure if the color is as dark as I thought it was, or if I messed up or maybe just the plastidip.
The interface is pretty straightforward. Take small strokes at a time and be careful not to let it I made a few mistakes the first time I used it, but nothing too serious. I was a little concerned that reinstalling lug nuts tore the finish and might lead to more peeling, but at this point there is no way to My car is a Model 3 from Tesla.
It instantly made my 17" focus stand out more aggressively, and my face lit up with a grin. As I mentioned, when I starting out, I washed the dirt off with a power washer and it worked fine, but it left bubbles in the Plasti Dip. My next attempt I grabbed some rim cleaner and sprayed that down and it worked beautifully the second time around.
For best results, I recommend doing one rim at a time and actually taking the wheels off the vehicle. It is unlikely that I would have found a fix to the bubbling if I had done all of these at the same time. The product is great, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their stock rims but just wish they were black, or simply does not have the money to buy new black tires.
I'm in awe of how the project turned out. Saved me close to $600 by sacrificing half a Saturday.
I really love how the results turned out. I used about three cans of it, so I used the leftover to black out the emblems on my car. It is relatively foolproof as long as you do your research and prep your wheels well beforehand. I applied 6 coats, so it only took 3 cans. This glossifier only required two coats, and I am happy with the slight shine it gives. The spray trigger is cheap and flimsy, but it definitely helps avoid hand strain when so many layers are being applied. It's a great way to add a bit of color and curb your noise pollution, and it's pretty easy to take it away if you don't like it or change your mind.
I am in awe of this. An alcohol-based cleaning solution has been used. Warming up the cans helps them to stay intact. I am removing my mask. Apply three or four even coats of spray paint and then peel it Videos showing how to do things are a great resource. BEFORE CLIENTS CONTACT YOUR GUIDE, BE SURE TO CLEAN THE AREA. The brush and rubbing alcohol I used are described below.
I like how easy it is to use and how quickly the overspray peels If you're a first time investor, I recommend the following The *br- You should spray the cans after they are warmed up in warm or hot water. Painting sprays better when the paint is warm*- I've found that a clip on spray nozzle helps a lot. - First, put on a light coat of tack coat - I recommend to dry the coats for 20 minutes between them - I think 5 coats are minimum (in my opinion)* - A temperature of 55° to 60°F is ideal for outdoor activities I'm 70f* - The can needs to be held upright when spraying. Overall, easy to use, and if you mess up, just peel it off.
