Only half of the can was left. We cleaned the wheels and lightly scuffed them with degreaser. Each wheel should be lightly coated with VHT primer, followed by two light coats of color and a final heavy coat to blend Wheels turned out for being a half effort rather than a full effort. I need fresh lug nuts. I've never worked with a rattle can paint that was better than this.
We used it to refinish the wheels of our vehicle. This is an outstanding paint job. Refinishing the wheels on my Tacoma pickup with it was a great experience. Their looks are gorgeous after three months, and they still look the same as the day they were painted. It is tempting to paint over something. But remember, anyone can do it. This is not what leads to a great final result. It is preparation that makes a difference, so follow the instructions and make sure your wheels are sanded if necessary and thoroughly cleaned. It was an excellent experience working with the tire dealer when I was buying new tires. In addition to placing the truck on four jack stands, the tire dealer removed all the old tires without charging me an additional fee since they were going to do it Following wetsanding with 80, 120, and 320 grit wet or dry sandpaper, I washed them and then used denatured alcohol and micro fiber rags obtained at Dollar General to remove any residue or film. Next, I painted the wheels. The wheels were coated with three light coats each. Three full cans were used to clean all four wheels from one set of four cans. As compared to spray can, or aerosol can paint, the paint seemed to have more pigment. In light coats, it covered around 10 squares and if you apply it thinly, it covered about 12 squares A distance of 12 inches did not cause the paint to Although I ran a little because I became impatient, I flipped the wheel up so that the paint would run the other way and evened it out in the end. After that, I applied additional coats when the can stated to do so. It took two days for the job to be completed.
THEIR OWN PROTECTION IS PROFESSIONALLY DONE! JUST SPRAY OUT AND IT COMES OUT!
I AM ALSO PAINTING MY WHEELS FOR THE FIRST TIME! A SUPER EASY way to make money.
It was hard to get over how good this product is. I was planning to paint my wheels black, but had gotten sick of the PLASTI DIP. There's no such thing as a bad buy. I did not experience any issues while it was laid on. I think it is a great product that is.
Three full cans, maybe a little over, were enough for all four wheels, and one can was left for touchups if necessary. I've had these wheels on my daily driver for three months now and they still look as good as they did when I installed The quality of the product is excellent. Taking the wheel off the vehicle, the tire dealer worked with me on this project. I raised the track at home on jack stands, set the vehicle on jack stands, and then I removed all four wheels. The tire dealer then took out the old tires. After sanding and cleaning the wheels, I took them home. The wheels looked brand new after they were refinished, they look beautiful. I brought my "new" wheels and tires home and remounted them with my new tires after they were mounted by the tire dealer. But as with any painting project, the preparation makes or breaks the outcome, so be sure to sand, smooth, and clean the surfaces you're going to paint before you begin.
I bought four of them. The spray nozzles for two of them were missing, and one of the cans had a clog halfway through. In the end, I was able to use half of a can of spray paint for $40. This is amazing. VHT has a reputation for these problems, based on the reviews we have read. It's nice to have you on.
When the can is not full, the spray nozzle can be finicky. It is best to keep the can horizontal as much as possible to avoid overspray problems. Having to paint an automobile wheel is not as easy as it seems. Paint that produces a beautiful finish and lasts for a long time cannot be beaten. Make sure to spray the most visible part of the wheel last to prevent overspraying. If you can work fast enough to keep the entire wheel wet, you will not have any problems with overspraying. It is possible to eliminate most if not all of the imperfections you find by overspraying the areas after drying. Buying again is on my wish list.
