Questions & Answers

Will this work for coating a wooden box to prevent it from catching on fire from a high-power bulb with more than 1,000 watts inside it?

Wood and heat go together quite well, but you're asking for trouble when you do! The average power output is approximately 1000 watts. Like others who have mentioned testing, 400 degrees fahrenheit is a precaution that results in a positive outcome. Make sure you follow the steps

People should post more pictures of their painted rooms along with their list of colors used so people can see what the colors actually look like in their environment? In various lighting, of course! ?

It is not possible on Amazon to add rich text to the item description, only the picture. Thanks a lot.

Would it be able to handle the heat if I used this to paint my GPU shield?

An integrated graphics card should work just fine with it.

Do you have customers that painted calipers, and how are they holding up with the paint?

The paint for caliper temperatures can be purchased. A higher number is better. I used 1200 once and it lasted, but I had a semi that still has the color on the brake drums after a year.

The quality and results were outstanding
5/5

Heat-based heating isn't as easy as it seems A very difficult task was trying to find a corrosion-resistant paint for my engine valve covers! The reviews for many products were mixed. After searching for quite a while, I found I am colorblind. As an added layer of protection, I paired this aluminum color with their Clear Coat Many say that painting is almost all prep work, and they are not Using a degreaser, cleaning the covers with scrubbing and spraying the oil grime off was extremely tedious but worth the effort The brake cleaner went down the drain. To remove the alcohol, wipe the surfaces clean with an isopropyl alcohol wipe. In an effort to make the covers warm, I hit them with a heat gun on low until they no longer felt cold to the touch, since it was winter when I did the detailing. It doesn't hurt to have a warm paint can on hand, I carefully followed the instructions on the label, which stated to lay down two light coats followed by a wet coat ten minutes apart. With the clear coat, I did exactly the same thing as with the base The entire coat process should be completed within one Here is one helpful tip If you have a rattle can, you'll be able to spray anything using this spray gun attachment With the sun setting, I only had an hour to wait before the painted object could be handled. The directions state the painted object can be handled in 3 hours. Because my perfect job was in danger of being ruined by wires, vacuum lines, and handling, I was worried everything would fall apart. My surprise came when the paint held perfectly during assembly and none of it came off when I reassembled it (see photos below)! The pristine engine bay of my truck is one step closer to being completed. Feel free to click that "Helpful" button if you would like me to update this review with how the paint holds up.

It is the perfect shade of turquoise
5/5

Vintage Nomad is a new camper we just bought. Renovations have been done to the interior of the building, where the original colors were A blah yellow, brown, and orange color palette! It would be nearly impossible to replace the appliances, so I thought we could try this. The turquoise color is perfect and 2 coats of this paint covered everything with just one can. You'll find it in the fridge. This is a stove top. . In the oven, close the door. An electric grill with a heat source. In the future, I will find something else that I can use this paint for. I would recommend it to friends. In the picture at the end, you can see the before picture.

Please provide the following information for artwork purposes When in contact with cold water, it is not good
4/5

It is heat-resistive but not water-resistant, so use it with caution if you are creating artwork with it. The tile or coaster will look great if this is applied to protect your art project, it is heat resistant, and the look is excellent. In any case, any cold water that comes in contact with it will disintegrate the coating and destroy the piece.

TAKE MY TIPS FIRST!! SO MUCH BETTER THAN RUSTO****
5/5

Large objects can be painted easily with a wide fan spray. In contrast, as with the competition's product, it WILL wrinkle when applied in multiple coats if you wait more than an hour, especially in the heat. Set a timer and get it all on shortly after the previous coat has flash dried, normally 5-10 minutes before that. You shouldn't put the nozzle closer than 12", apply light coats, and the first coat should just be a spit coat, because otherwise you WILL get a run, and enamel takes at least 30 days to fully cure, even if the can says it takes 6. You will also need at least a couple of days to wait for the feathered edges to cure if you wet sand a boo-boo.

The paint suits everything! I love it! In yellow are the calipers
5/5

My favorite item in the entire line of engine enamels is the engine enamel -- I use it for several different projects around the car to include the brake caliper. The caliper paint is usually available in your color, but it doesn't always come in your color, so thankfully we have this stuff. I used the yellow enamel to highlight the custom wheels on the BMW. It's a great product under the hood for sure, but you can see in the pictures how it looks.

I know you'll love it
5/5

A friend of mine used this on her On my engine cover, wheels, and other metal parts, I sprayed the painted finish and it looks fantastic. It's important to remember, though, that Ceramic Engine paint needs heat in order to cure the paint. If you plan on spraying anything else besides the engine, you may want to consider heating the metal with a heatgun first to ensure a long lasting finish.

Review of Universal White Engine Paint
3/5

First of all, this is a review of "Universal White Engine Paint. ". Duplicolor's other paints have also proved to be successful for me. I used Duplicolor primer as a primer, but had issues with the white paint when it splattered all over the tank. I ordered two cans of the paint for a motorcycle gas tank project. Initially I thought the nozzle was blocked, so I cleaned it with a wire and attempted to use it In the same way, it When I tried to spray paint from the second can, it would not spray anything. The company decided to send me new paint cans after I brought the issue to their attention. Every time one used a can, paint was splattered in every direction. As well as looking thin and watery, the paint was also very streaky. Shaking both cans for over two minutes, sweeping the nozzle clean, and spraying onto another surface in an attempt to clear the blockage will continue to do the job. Despite my success with Duplicolor's other paints, I have found their other paints to be somewhat problematic.
