There's a base white and then you add the pearl color until it looks the way you want it to. After that, the clear coat goes on. I haven't yet tried it, since the instructions say to practice a lot first. No matter how hard I try, it will look horrible.

The brush needs to be cleaned. How should I do it?

A great aspect of this stuff is how you get the right look by going through 3 steps. The front bumper of my 2011 Yukon Denali attracted everything flying in the air on the road so it took me some time to get the hang of it, but before I knew it I was doing everything on the nose of the car.
