Questions & Answers

am interested in using Rejex for a 5th wheel RV but do not have the option of putting the RV inside to cure for 12 hours. I was thinking of doing it late afternoon, then letting it ?

When we say to allow to cure "out of the elements", we're referring to not park the RV under tree sap, avoid driving across town in swarms of insects or dust, etc. until the coating has had at least a couple of hours to cure and harden. In other words, the coating needs to be protected from contaminants In the process of curing, a polymer matrix is formed, which is not biocompatible Contaminants and stains are kept out of the material since it is porous. It is typical to wash and RejeX a vehicle in the afternoon so that the coating will cure the next day. By the next morning, it should be all done for you.

How safe is RejeX for plastic headlights / plastic mirrors / plastic trim / chrome rims / metalized chrome plastic?

RejeX has enabled me to restore both a boat's fiberglass hull and an acrylic windshield to new condition. You should be able to use it for the items you have listed if you follow the directions to the letter.

This product (61002) and the REJex "high gloss protective finish" are very similar. What's the difference? The labeling and product identifier for rejectex causes me confusion. ?

While I'm unable to tell you the difference, the 61002 is what I used for the high gloss finish four months ago and water is still beads up on both the car and truck I painted with it. This is a very easy to use product that gets good I just tried it for the first time and I am a fan.

If the wheel has a textured and unpolished finish, is this okay for use on it? What do you call a car which sheds brake dust like mad (a BMW)?

According to the instructions, do not use on surfaces that are textured or porous. Due to its liquid nature, RejeX tends to get into the grooves and leave a white haze once it dries, which is difficult to remove with the knap of a cloth, buffer, etc. If you're going to use it, make sure the surface is smooth and easy to wipe A product like this is much tougher and much more resistant to chemicals than wax, so removing it chemically is not practical.

It is easy to remove bugs and the shine lasts very long
5/5

Rejex fitted the bill for my needs perfectly since I live in Florida so I wanted a product that would withstand the intense heat and sun, as well as be easy to remove bugs and give a great shine. My research before applying for Rejex led me to find a few tips that may be helpful to others, so I did a little bit of searching before applying. * BELIEVE IN THE DIRECTIONS! !
Rejex is not a wax, it is a polymer. The paint should therefore be clean and dry before putting it on. In addition, you probably won't be able to extend the lifespan of the wax product if you apply it over another wax product. To make applying the car wash product as easy as possible and to ensure that it remains on your vehicle, I have listed my steps. The first thing I did was wash my car with Dawn dish soap. Rejex will bond with your paint better when Dawn is used to remove any prior wax coating. In order to get the car out of the sun, I thoroughly dried it and put it in the garage. After having let it sit for an hour or so in the garage, I had to touch the paint to ensure it was cool. My application of Rejex was completed using Terrycloth applicator pads that I purchased on Amazon. You can get a lot out of a little. It is important to not put it in heavy so that it can be easily removed. You should shake the bottle before you use it. In sections, I paint my panels one at a time. I apply the paint in a thin coat, let it dry to a haze for about 15 minutes, and then wipe it off with a microfiber cloth. You can multi-task if you want Start applying it to a second panel. By the time you finish applying it to the second panel, the first panel should be ready to wipe. When it came to black window trim and textured black plastic trim pieces, I found that I had to be careful. The trim pieces can be left with a white haze if you get it on them. With Mother's Back to Black, I cleaned those areas and had them back in black in no time. A streak is a continuation of a particular trend Streaks are sometimes cited as a complaint by reviewers. It's probably being applied to thick or you're not waiting long enough for it to completely dry. If it's streaking, it's probably being applied too thick. If it can be removed easily and is streak-free, it is fine. Apply less gloss on the rest of the panels and when you are done, use a detailing spray to touch up the streaky spots, and it will come off As a result, I also use Rejex around my home to help keep it Chrome faucets on sinks and showers work perfectly with this product. My wife really enjoys that part of the product. Other pointers for removing bugs. While Rejex makes it easier to remove bugs, the Florida sun doesn't take too long to bake those bugs into My easy way to get rid of bugs on my car is to wet a cheap, white, terry cloth towel and lay it across the front where the bugs are baked. Then I remove the towel and spray the area with some detail spray after letting it sit for about an hour. Bugs are easily removed from a microfiber cloth using a microfiber cloth. Keep in mind that you should always turn the MF towel so that the bugs' shells won't During future washings, I use a soap that is specifically formulated for car washing to prevent the Rejex from being removed. My research has shown that if it is applied correctly, it will last 6 months There are 7 months under the Florida sun before the next application is due. Keep your vehicle in the garage and you ought to get close to a full year of service. It seems like I've read reviews on other products where people were given the product for free or with a big discount for reviewing it. I am not responsible for that. My purchase was full price, I received no discounts, perks, or perks of any kind. Since I am lazy and have better things to do on the weekend than wax my cars, I needed a product that would protect my vehicle, maintain its appearance, and help me remove these darn Florida bugs without scrubbing my arms to death. That is the reason I prefer Rejex.

I am not sure why every wax product claims to be the greatest since sliced bread to work well and last long time
5/5

A friend suggested I try this on the leading edges of my airplane wings. I don't believe in advertising hype, but I'll give it a try. I appreciated how well it worked. Taking small planes up in the air is not the most pleasant task as you must regularly brush the bugs off the wingtips or the remains of the squished bugs become subject to petrification and have a difficult time being removed. Rejection is so fast and effective that bugs no longer stick. All that needs to be done is a gentle wiping with a soft sponge. In addition, the product appears to last much longer than other waxes before it requires reapplication. With good success in the airplane, I began using this technique on my cars as well. Certainly, it is more expensive than other products, but what is the value of your time? It's a good idea to spend two days there Is it really that important if you used $3 worth of product or one dollar worth of product if you're spending three hours waxing your car. The review wasn't paid to me by anyone!

Unfortunately, this review didn't receive any cash from anyone! The only reason I'm writing this review is because I'm a happy customer and can type 60 wpm or more!.

That's so cool! This is the only one I need for my bike
5/5

My initial reaction to reading the reviews on this product was to be extremely skeptical since I have never noticed a cleaner that did what this cleaner was advertised to do and I have never used a wax that was praised by so many reviewers. It may be that I only wax my car once a year because I don't take care of it as well as I should. Due to my background in automobile maintenance, I'm very concerned about keeping the appearance of my 2012 Victory Cross Country. There are currently 14 waxes that I use, (Widow Wax, Mothers, Meguires, Nu Finish, NXT Wax, Pig Snot, Cycle Care, Lucas, Wizards, Bug Slide, etc. just to try to find THE one that would give me the results I'm looking for. With my new Vic, I use Rejex as my go to wax/protectant. You can apply it easily and remove it easily as well. It is wonderful to have this paint after it is applied because of its bright shine and smooth feel. One of the worst things about riding the bike is seeing the bug splats on the faring and in the Repex makes the bug guts slide right off, and you can get rid of them in no time. This is the only software I will use from now on! In the meantime, I will have to figure out what to do with all of the other waxes, sprays, and cleaning products I will no longer be using. This might not seem like good review, but I got a bottle of Rejex for really discounted or even free, so I don't have anything bad to say about it. I want to know who gets that lucky and how I can get in on that! Having been "ONE OF THOSE" customers has never been an experience I've had before. There is no affiliation between me and Rejex, and I do not work for them or sell their products. On the rare days when I'm off from my job as an Operator at a chemical plant, I love to ride my bike. I really enjoy riding clean bikes. My wife and I ride cross country a few times or more a year and put about 20,000 miles on it each. The wax I have always used for my bike is a little thin and does not last very long, so when we are riding, I'm constantly trying to get more. This is the wax known as Rejex.

You should not get it on the plastic parts on your vehicle with matte finishes
4/5

All expectations seem to be met by the product. I am very pleased with it so far. I got some of the coating on the plastic matte finish on the front grill, but that is the only issue I have had. The grayish white color has been made visible on that part of the screen. It is unclear if the mark will wear off or if it can be cleaned I would however like to have the black finish on it back.
