I would recommend an epoxy primer first, followed by a SMR
While it works well and looks nice, all of the things that get on it cannot be cleaned
Applied as a base I'm very impressed by the quality of this product. It worked perfectly on my 2013 HD Roadglide. Black as a flat surface

I am well satisfied. I applied this product well to a 1937 Dodge pickup, the product dried quickly, and the coverage was even.
Exactly how I hoped it would be. Sprays well but you will need to be careful not to overlap it and to flash off too soon. One year after being painted, these pictures are still available to view. I have had no problems with this product!.
