In short, yes. You can use it for a few days, but then it will no longer work. Brushes that I use are cheap and thrown away after use.
POR-based products are recommended for this product A 15 rust preventative paint can be applied to create a more durable finish, but it is not necessary.
It seems to hold up pretty well on my brake drums. I painted them back in April 2016 and they are still looking great. I don't think a clear coat is necessary because it seems to hold up pretty well. There is a thick consistency to the paint, but it glides easily on the wall. It doesn't seem like I used much paint to paint the drums on the rear since I probably used nothing more than a small amount. The paint is expensive, but it is really good. It should help if you read this. Sincerely, thank you
Thanks, and yes, it is a glossy black finish.

There are people who love por15 and other people not so much, I have had good and bad luck with it but if I use it the way it was intended, it always comes out well, is consistent in color and viscosity, and pretty much stays up when dry.
It is the best product available. Since a few years ago, we've used it not only for our autos but for other hot places as well. My recommendation for it is strong.
Garbage in its purest form. It goes on way too thickly, making the engine look as if it was dipped in paint. After using a wire wheel and stripper, I removed heavy rust from my engine. First I applied the primer coat and then I applied the engine paint. I used a brush for both. There is a runny orange peel reaction when the application is As an example of the superior finish, consider VHT rattle can.
An enamel this tough is hard to break. It can be difficult to thinning crops properly before spraying. The document states that it is "for professional use only". The spray cans from auto parts stores don't have the same results as engine enamel.
The paint is very thick and can be difficult to brush onto motors since it is SO thick, so you have to be very careful in areas where there is no room to spare, but it does look nice once I would not use it for an engine again.
The quality of this product was good, and it went on well and has held up well.
