The Ground Coat for the Metal Cast series is reviewed here. If you take the time to do it right, it gives you great results. There is one small point I wish to share with you, however. It is very difficult to estimate how many rattle can spray paints I have used. For the first time in my life, I have used a spray that requires a respirator to work, even if the spray is used outside. Avoid it, as it will be extremely hard on your lungs otherwise. First, prime, then apply 3 coats of Metalcast Basecoat, followed by 2 coats of Metalcast Smoke and a final 3 coats of Metalcast Red. I finished the project with three layers of 2K clear.
