This is the first time I've used something like this. The 3M Scotch pads worked nicely with this and I used them for scratching up my son's power wheels. Sanding wet was a breeze with this tool. The market for this product has grown tremendously in the last few years. A great product. My only concern is that the label stated "may cause cancer," but didn't clarify what kind of cancer it could cause. How do you inhale skin? Do you touch the skin or do you inhale air? In any case. I like it and it does exactly what I want.

Combined with grey scuff pads, this is a great product

The combination of this stuff and the grey scuff pads from 3M is fantastic. Distiller water will keep contaminants off the panels, and a Terry towel can be used as a wipe. After cleaning, blow the water off to dry and use a tack cloth to wipe the surface. As this removes wax and grease, there is no need to reclean afterward. Just paint and let dry.

The orange-scented liquid is great for scuffing plastic fairings to prepare them for painting (with a grey Scotch bright on top). It also keeps the static at bay and is very clean. This is a bit more expensive than I expected.
