In my opinion, it would not be a good idea in that situation. The coats must be spaced a week apart or the orange peel will appear. Put a coat of lacquer on Several coats of paint can be applied to match the level of gloss desired.
One can was purchased by me to touch up the 98 Silverado, but it would not spray from the can. Amazon does not allow returns for spray paint!
Clear coat is a paint used to add a sparkle to an existing paint surface. It is a paint that gives a glowing 'shine' to an existing paint surface. It really messed up my car's bumper when I bought one of these and tried to use it on it) *br>I recommend trying it on any old paint surface before using it on your car's main part.
Thanks for visiting. There is no water based paint on this Jamie

My dad's headlights need to be restored, so I bought this to use for that. Quite a bit of fog blanketed the area. A 600 grit sand paper was used, then a 1500 grit wet paper was used. Then the clear coat was applied. I had no problems with the project and it went well.
In this case, I used this product to seal my paintings on tile and canvas materials. This product lasts long, doesn't tint, and has a great finish. There are about three to four needed There are actually four costs related to true coverage. The only problem I have with this type of tiling is that if two tiles touch for a long period of time, the paint peels away. Following the curing process, that is.
In addition to making tile photo coasters as gifts, I also made dozens of other projects. The coasters had been coated with several sealants so that hot mugs did not stick to them. As of right now, this method works the best. There was still some sticking, but not very much. Additionally, the longer you let this set (days or weeks), the faster it sets. It makes a HUGE difference how long it takes), the better it will go. Several months have passed and there is no stick.
It dried to a matte haze that could not be buffed back to a gloss after following the instructions to the letter. Total waste of time and money. So, the sanding and ordering of a 2k clear coat will have to wait. The product is not clear, glossy, or crystal clear. It might be suitable.
The skin did not cure within 72 hours, it was still soft after that period. I followed the directions exactly. Do not apply this to anything that will get in contact with gasoline, such as the gas tank of a motorcycle. It is only a matter of time before gasoline ruins your As far as Duplicolor paints are concerned, I have had the same results. They become ruined when they are exposed to gasoline. I am fine with the other items. Be careful not to.
I bought this with the dupli-card I used gray primer and gloss black paint to paint my spoiler. The Gray and Black went on perfectly smooth and looked great, but when I used the clear coat, the Black Paint wrinkled and shriveled up now its a wrinkled gummy mess and waste of time and money.
This product was able to prevent painted coasters and hot coffee cups from sticking, which is why I gave it a five-star rating.
A hazy finish is left behind by this clear coat. Because I wanted to avoid the 2K clear coat if that was possible, I had high hopes for this result. Buying the 2K clear coat is the best way to finish with a crystal clear finish. However, that one is more expensive and you must wear a mask and goggles while using it.
