Only on the handles of my car have I tried it. I have not tried it on any other surfaces. I guess maybe you can try it if you are complaining about the slider not moving in the track. It'll still help your car in a Wisconsin winter if you don't need it.
This product has been in my collection for quite a while. There is an amount of "overspray" onto the surrounding paint, as with all spray bottles. There has been no damage ever caused by this device.

Across the street, my neighbor was scraping like a madman. Having this stuff in your arsenal is a great idea. There was a lunatic scraping like a madman outside my neighbor's house. I sprayed my scraper through the ice as if it were butter and it melted like a hot knife through it. While my neighbor was still scraping, I drove away. I don't think you would feel bad if you were familiar with my neighbor.
I purchased it hoping that I could beat the cold weather in Pennsylvania. When I entered the first show storm, I cleaned my car of the snow and then pulled my hose to clean off the ice. A generous amount of spray was applied. After that, I heard little cracks and knew I would have to clean off my wind shield. However, that's not the case! There was no such thing as that! Despite several days of warmer weather, the wind shield did not melt. I had to use my trusted scraper to remove the ice.
It is always nice to have a friend who appreciates you. It is a good value for the price and a useful product as well. In the event that you're anything like me, and you find that you are running behind schedule, you know that there's no time to wait for your windshield to clear. You can spray on this to clear the frost, and you will be able to see the road to work as you rush to work. Although, you do still have to turn on the heater, as it can still freeze over. Gets rid of ice right away. As an owner of a large truck, I cannot always reach the windshield to scrape it. With just a few sprays and a few turns of the defrost, the ice melts right away. Buying this product is something I've been doing for a long time.

Does what it is supposed to do well. I love this ice cream! It doesn't melt as fast as water, but does a great job on the ice. However, you have to follow the instructions on the bottle, which #1 is. Make sure your car is running and then turn on your defroster. Natural laws dictate that any liquid that is sprayed on a surface that is below freezing will freeze, just as you expect it to do when exposed to extreme temperatures. The thin layer of frost resulting from the product freezing on the windshield melts quickly from the defroster if you turn on the defroster so it can heat up the windshield, spray the product on the windshield, and then run the wipers. It's still much easier and quicker to plough than scrape, which is particularly helpful when dealing with frost that is very stubborn, especially when you'll sprain something by the time you take the time to scrape it.

There's no need to apply anything to it it just sprays on. One problem I had with it was that the spray bottle got stuck the first time I used it, but it only happened once so it was no big deal. You should really give it a try. receive a lot of value for your money as well! This was my first time seeing wine bottles of such a large size. Buying a small can at Walmart for close to $12 is not the same thing.
